alright football fans, looks like a doozy of a game! dallas is playing way above their heads last 3-4 weeks or so, but eagles potent offense nothin to sleep on... desean jackson has put up amazing numbers all year, save for the 2 games against the cowboys, i believe 5 rec for less than 100, wow.... celek is a badass, but witten is better! this will be a great game, no doubt... supreme effort from both sides.... lean goes to dallas on all phases of game right now, better offense, better defense, specail teams nod to dallas as well, not by much tho... home team gets auto 3 pts, lets go... dallas wins a squeaker 34-30 on late go-head score from barber....

alright, bengals fans, looks like conditions are right for a good home game, jets on the road even with best D statistically, Bengals D pretty stout as well, i see identical teams, save for one BIG exception, the QBs, carson palmer is light years ahead of sanchez in smarts-managaing a tough playoff game.... 20-12 bengals, side is strong, total is up in the air...

mush, they may or may not get thier first win, i said expect supreme effort, i am taking the points, +3.5, if they win the game or not, the bettors will win if the final is 20-17 and you took the points... expect supreme effort from the rams to get their first win of the season, i am taking the points... 20-17, still... as of the beginning of the 4th q, knotted at 10-10 |

drew brees is the muffluffin man, fellas.... who said ride the saints til the wheels fall off?! atl has a great team, led by good coach and an awesome-QB-on-the-rise... they will be good for some points, as i believe Saints D has not and will not show up this year, over 3TDs a game allowed and over 300 yards a game given up... NO is a machine, and looks to be well oiled at this point, even after close one on road at MIA... nfc south can really cook up good matchups... tough to call this one, really, first lean was towards ATL, but after further review ride the Saints train... NO 34 - ATL 20

GB home-cookin, comin off big road-win, MIN off big road-loss, GB weather says a high of 47 degrees, overcast 10 percent chance of rain, wind 10mph, vikes a dome team on the road in chilly conditions... played 1nce already this year, MIN won by 7 cover 4.5 number, at MIN.... GB will play with hair on fire, but expect great effort from vikes, a close game until the end, GB 26 - MIN 21

not much to say here, CAR and delhomme stinky, smith getting man coverage with help over the top each rip, deangelo williams must do it all by himself?! will not work... warner and co. starting to look like something decent, great receiving corps led by fitz, cant cover em all! home field, carolina coming west, zona coming off big win, should be zona BIG! cards 35 - panthers 6

this is the biggest spread of the week, and the biggest no-brainer to me... SD clearly has the talent, offense and defense, although the loss of jamal williams has significantly setback sd D, they will have no problems with a bush-vargas tandem... the first game of the season for these two teams took place on the monday nite doubleheader way back when and we saw the supreme effort from the raiders, at home, on monday-nationally-televised game and SD barely pulled off 4 point win, and not covering the number 10... sd has 11-1 ATS against oak last 12 games, that 1 loss ATS was that game... SD at home, a get-right game, just like last week at KC, this will be no problem for Rivers and co. SD 31 - OAK 9

i will start by saying these are two great coaches, the lean is to fisher of tenn, he will NOT be fired at seasons end, he is the longest tenured coach in the NFL, and he has a super bowl appearence and numerous playoff wins, del rio no chopped liver tho.... jax O not intimidating at all, mjd the only name worth mentioning, although garrard has developed with sims-walker as of late, mjd will be held in check as tenn D holding opponents to 60 yards rushing at home... jax D not intimidating at all, and tenn still has burner chris johnson to deploy, lendale white to pound in short-yardage-situation, and vince young making first start of year, he isnt intimidating - just a shake up that is noteworthy... jax won the first game by 20 and they were getting 3, at jax no less... this will be a much closer game, not all tenn players have given up, and jax believes they still are in playoff hunt... tenn 24 - jax 21

it opened eagles -2, now they are home-dog, getting a point at most places... lets start with this is a tough, bloody-and-bruised, nfc-east matchup with 2 of the upper-end teams... g-men secondary is suspect, many injuries, but a great front 7, manningham dealing with injury on the O.... eagles D is very solid, eagles offense dealing with westbrook shown doubtful, mccoy is decent replacement, big strike capabilities through the air, but hard to sustain drives.... the lean is to the hometeam, even with g-men on a 2-game-slide... giving the eagles points at home is a great selling point in, no-doubt, a close game... eagles 24 - g-men 23
