BYU--go with the religion that makes you wear a padlock on your privates until you get married.

UM's early victories are not as impressive as originally thought. UCONN started slow and ND is awful. I see another late UM slump in back half of schedule. I take IU as UM will look ahead to Sparty.

This is a tough one mentally. I spent 8 long and sleepless years in Morgantown during the Nehlen/Rodriguez era. It has been painful to watch the AD and Bill Stewart destroy a historic program. But it was inevitable. The just of it is that WVU has the athletes, but the coaching is awful. The football I.Q. is lacking and it shows on the field. WVU cannot cover on defense. The offense is out of sync. And WVU is getting worse as the season progresses. This is another sign of D- coaching. Take Cincy. The WV defense cannot handle a running quarterback, whether Tony or Zach, and the corners cannot maintain coverage for more than 2 seconds. There will be a lot of deep balls for Cincy. Also note, BIll Stewart has already conceded a loss in the media. |

WV puts up 40 tomorrow. The defense will give up yards but not too many TD. Even though Cuse is improving, they are due for a woodshedding. Look for WV to hold onto the ball this week and win by 14+.

I think Carolina Line is larger but you look at Carlina's avergage point and they are going to put uo 27-35. It will could easily be 35-17. Warner old and back to backs are tought to win. You jve to take Caroline but take the tease at 4 and avoid backdoor cover.
Teaser for 1K
Carolina - 4
San Diego +12. Darren Sproles difference. Steeler coming off 31-0 win. they game will be close.

If UK can muster up any offense, the game should be within 3-6 point either way. ECU containing the Tulsa offense cannot be overlooked. My mouth is already dry enough from all the chalk, but I have to go with ECU.
For fun, laid 3 large on 10pt Teaser---Nuggets (+.5), Texas Tech Over (56.5) and ECU (+7). Hopefully it will help pay for all the money I spent two nights ago...

Cincy. They are jacked for the game. This means more to them than it does for VT.
Cincy O and D have slight edges, but I like Cincy D and couple Tony Pike scramble to win this one.
Cincy 20-16

I would take UNC. More importantly, look at the under. Two defenses and two underachieving offenses, especially WVU. Both sputtered at end of season. Hard to call. It will be a good game. 50% of WVU grads have flocked to Charlotte. It will be a hell of a party.

Michigan St. wins. Wisconsin got their win last week. Illinios plays every other game. Wisconsin offense is pathetic. Without arguably the best tight end in the Big Ten, they will be lethargic. Michigan St. by 6.

WV's performance was a complete shock to the whole state. I am a WV homer and I was shocked. The first 20 minutes went as scripted--Auburn up 17-3.
After the Auburn game, it is hard to get a read on WVU. Has the team come out of its shell? Or will they revert back to the WVU that played ECU, CU, and Syracuse.
I think WV struggles to win this game. UConn was beat so badly lasy year that they will be ready. Bill Stewart still has alot to prove. Note, that WVU did not change their play calling for Auburn. The coaches credit better execution. That worries me with travel and a noon start.
I am laying 1K on UConn and Air Force 2 team teaser

Another WVU alum here with some pearls of wisdom and a bet that will pay November's rent. Listen carefully, I am dialed into Morgantown and what is going on and off the field.
Last weekend, I traveled clear from SoCal to Morgantown to watch us putter by the Crusty Cuse. My bet on Syracuse at +24 paid for the 2K I blew to get into Morgantown and fund an underage tailgate with no less than 20 textbook alcoholics. The game should have ended at 10-6. A late score by Devine made the game look much better than it was. I was in the parking lot by halftime reflecting how depressing the entire atmosphere had changed since last year. Even the partying was subdued. That never happens at WVU.
WVU's team chemistry is in shambles. Bill Stewart has been an absolute embarrassment to WV and its fans. He has destroyed a great team in 5 weeks. There is no coming out party here. Do not think last years team will suddenly emerge---they died with Bill Stewart's rotten front teeth and last brain cell. Shit, we are all praying Bill has finally learned how to use his headset--a major impediment in the Colorado game.
Pat White has cashed out. A girl I know lives two doors down from him and he is done. He is planning bigger and better things. Can anyone say MLB contract? Why would he throw his body out there. The play calling is about as imaginative as buying your ball and chain roses on Valentines Day. Don't expect 70-90 scampers against Auburn. Auburn has way more team speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Granted, Auburn is equally pathetic on offense, if not worse. But WVU is soft and will turn the ball over at least twice. Pat White will be lucky to leave the game with his head attached to his shoulders.
Be smart, buy a half point and take Auburn at +3.5. That will protect you from a 60-yard Pat McAfee field goal to win the game. Note, McAfee can kick 50+ all day. It is the 10-20 yard gimmees that give make him wet himself.
Have fun!

I have to say Central Michigan was a major disappointment. My only loss in first week.
Standford. New coach, same problems as last year.
The U's: UAB, UVA, and and SMU.
Watch for WVU and Oklahoma chalk to win this week. WVU is pissed they have to travel to Huntington to play Marshall in a stadium that seats 40K. The legislature makes them play and WVU wants to make sure they are not in same league.
Oklahoma: Well, let's just say they are never going to play anymore close games after last year. This looks like a statement game to me.
Underdogs--Must wait until my research ends.
