NBA: How far does "your" line need to be from the book's to cover the juice?
in Systems & Strategies
I realize this does not take into standard deviation / variance for an individual game so I'm just asking for some sort of rule of thumb for most games.
This is also assuming your line is on average correct. Thanks. |

Do teams tend to score a little bit lower the first game after the break due to offensive rustiness? I don't really have the stats to check it out but thought someone savvier than myself would know. I noticed all 3 games the day before the break went under due to lack of motivation which I found interesting. Thanks.

Thanks for your recommendations as I've been out of the game for a while and looking to get back in.
With all the changes in legislation for American players since I last made a bet online what are the best ways to deposit/withdraw money from most of these sites now? |

I agree. That seems like way too many points but I also noticed the Spurs are playing some ugly ball averaging 77.5 points on offense in their last 4 games. And that includes a couple against the Blazers and Sonics. I'll take a stab at the Lakers in this one.

The real beauty of calling a raise with these hands is that they are so hard to identify by other players. Does that mean I call any raise with suited connectors? No way. But, it helps if it's a multiway pot and more importantly what do I calculate my implied odds to be. If I think a weaker player has aces or kings I am more apt to call and hope to get lucky on the flop and probably end up felting them.

Stock rumors and buying falling stocks can be fun, but am I the only one here who uses TA?
