one of the most insane back door covers I've ever seen! ugly loss for Duke backers... |

Central BUY Cincy---Votto is on fire, solid starting pitching and lights out closer. HOLD St Louis---teams lineup is beat up and starters have cooled off. they will get it back together again. Pittsburgh---pitching has been exceptional, but complete lack of confidence in teams hitting.

WEST BUY Seattle---Hernandez, Millwood and Vargas always give them a shot. if they can continue to produce runs like they have recently they will fill backers pockets with cash. HOLD Texas---going thru mini slump right now. too much talent for this to last, excellent bullpen and lots of hitting. team is very chalky, impossible to back when they aren't firing on all cylinders. LA Angels---went on a really nice run, but still questions about whether they have their $hit togehter yet. Oakland---hard to back when they generally produce so few runs.have some potential with young arms. Nationsl league East BUY Washington---exceptional pitching top to bottom, as long as they produce enough runs they are real contenders. Miami---have pulled it together after poor start. quality starters and offence has picked up last month. NY Mets---have to say I have missed the boat on Mets this season. clearly underrated, they have gotten solid pitching and hitting this season. back end of bullpen scares the piss out of me though. HOLD Philadelphia---injuries to star players are a big concern, they have at least started to hit abit. Atlanta---getting Freeman and McCann back in the lineup will help. back end of the rotation has to get better. |

like to look at teams in 3 areas, run scoring, starting pitching and relief pitching. american league east BUY Boston---Sox are hitting the cover off the ball and their pitching has really stabilized. New York---Yank's have started to get it together, rotation and bullpen have been better recently. SELL Baltimore---hitting has dried up and their starting rotation is weakest in tough division. HOLD Tampa---injuries have hurt lineup, once they get healthy they should go on a run. Toronto---team that consistently can't get over the hump. in general good bet outside of their division. Central BUY Chicago---team has all aspects going right now. Chris Sale looks really good. lots of power in lineup. Minnesota---after brutal start team has provided good value. Walters and Diamond have been golden so far. team is producing enough runs. avoid vs top tier teams. SELL Cleveland---injuries have piled up on lineup and starting pitching has rolled over. Detroit---backers have been killed by Tigers this year. can't even win Verlander's starts and they are always chalky. lack of clutch hitting and so-so pitching. HOLD Kansas City---like looking at them when Paulino and Chen take the mound, amazingly bad at home this year. because the lineup has the potential to produce runs they are nice dog bet on road. |

Balt have now lost 9 of 11 and continue to spiral, poor starting pitching and now the bats have greatly cooled off...Hellickson is 4-1 with a 2.51 era vs O's and stellar at home. a little chalky -150 but O's look terrible right now. Bosox continue to be red hot bats are alive and pitching has come around. Doubront has been very good, Drabek is giving up a ton of walks, career era over 8 vs Boston. can get Red Sox around -110 Minny have struggled vs Indians lately losing 11 of 12. just a gut feeling that they win today with Walters on the mound at solid +money +125 Oak/KC game under 8. Oak can't hit, McCarthy has continued to pitch well. it was 2-0 yesterday so more of the same? Rockies bats continue to sizzle, very hard to bet against them rght now, even with Nicasio on the bump. Injuries may have caught up with LAD as they have not produced many runs over last handful of games. Yankees have won 7 of 9 due to their bats coming to life. Kuroda can be really up and down but still like matchup vs Porcello with lifetime era over 5.5 vs NYY. could be a slugfest tonight. NYY line now under -110.

Rockie bats have really woken up lately, Dodger bats have fell silent in 4 game sweep at home. See if Rockies pitching is the tonic that LA bats need. Paulino's 5 starts...2 vs NYY, 2 vs Balt, 1 vs CWS ---era 2.03 should have no problem with A's weak lineup right.... books have taken notice with line around -150 Pirates are an astounding 4-38 at Milwaukee in last 42. Correia era 5.22 vs Brewers. Wolf 9-3 lifetime vs Pirates. Brew Crew have 7 players on dl but swept LAD on road...go figure. lots of chalk on Brewers...over 8.5 a look maybe. |

both Philly and Miami have been hot lately. Kendrick is 7-2 lifetime vs Miami and has been very hot in his last 3 starts. feel Philly have a goood shot here tonight. Expect Atlanta to turn things around as both McCann and Freeman are back in their lineup on a regular basis now. of course the bottom end of their rotation has to get better. St Louis/Mets Wainwright has definitely turned the corner pitching much better the few starts. Santana has been blazing hot at home with 1.60 era. under 7 might be the play. |

heavy wind blowing out in Minny/Cleve game line has moved to 9. Indians starters have era of close to 12 in last handful of games. Lowe does not have good #'s vs Minny. Pavano has been poor all season. Boston/Jays line has moved sharoly in bosox favour. Sox bats have been very hot, pen has stabilized. Buchholz #'s have been trending down. Alvarez #'s have headed the other way recently. Sox getting chalk here looks good. Texas/LAA over 8.5 Williams has terrible #'s vs Texas in limited innings. Lewis so-so #'s vs Angels. both teams are hitting now...don't think it will be 21-8 though....

I don't think this game was fixed. just a massive choke job. this is college sports not the pros. having watched college sports for a long time nothing surprises me....these collapses, surprises are commonplace. these are kids... they make a ton of mistakes, the pressure gets to them and the talent level is very diverse. that's why it's so much fun to watch! ps if you do fix a game, you do not fix such a high profile game with the president in the front row and national type coverage. |

Black Cats 1st game at home since humiliating last second home loss to Wigan. new manager Martin O'Neill takes over, they do not want to sink further into relegation battle. I would expect a huge effort tomorrow. |

and that's not a good thing.... how in God's name do they keep putting this guy in net, he's small, goes down way too early and you can drive a truck thru his 5 hole. |

back for week 4....bol everyone. Everton/Man Utd---mr rooney can expect a tough welcome. I laughed at the stat that he hasn't scored away from home since january....really. everton should be desperate for a result here due to their slow start. they beat utd 3-1 last yr at home. everton haven't lost at home since last nov. utd haven't lost away since their 3-1 loss at goodison. wouldn't be surprised to see a draw here. Arsenal/Bolton---arsenal hit with injuries to walcott, van persie and vermaelen. bolton off to excellent start, so surprised to see such a chalky line on arsenal. maybe it has to do with gunners winning 8 straight vs bolton in league and cup matches. I like the idea of bolton keeping this game close and +1.5, +105 looks good. Fulham/Wolves---carl henry wolves... doubtful due to being tired after kicking joey barton around the park 2 weeks ago. wolves have lost only 1 of last 8 epl matches. the 2 epl matches between these 2 teams at craven cottage have ended in scoreless draws. see a few people on fulham...wolves did turn in their worst effort last game. think the under 2.5 is a likely outcome Man City/Blackburn---man shitty really let me down in week3, so Iexpect them to get ther act in gear vs a weak travelling rovers side. it's been 16 months since city lost successive epl matches. rovers haven't lost 3 straight under big sam. I think adebayor to score at +110 is a good bet as he has scored 9 goals in 7 matches vs paul robinson. man city to keep a clean sheet at -110 is interesting also. Newcastle/Blackpool---toon have looked good early in season and it's been a long time since they tasted defeat at st james park...26 games. newcastle won 4-1 at home in this fixture last yr. blackpool's 4 games this yr have produced 21 goals. really like the over 2.5, -143 here. newcastle on front foot at home, all of blackpool's games this yr have gone over. both teams have shown forward looking styles, so I look forward to an over and an exciting match to watch. West Brom/Tottenham---we'll see what spurs are made of here, dawson and defoe's injury and the ugly loss at home to wigan to shake off. spurs have won only 1 of 4 epl matches at the hawthorns. brom have won 3 of last 19 epl matches. spurs at even money to do the business looks tempting but will stay on side lines here. West Ham/Chelsea---hammers are god awful, pure and simple. but chalk all over the place here, chelsea as the only team to score is +125..so a shutout win, looks interesting. hammers have only kept 1 clean sheet in last 15 epl matches and have scored one goal this yr...from the penalty spot. it is their worst start to an epl season. it's been almost 10 hrs since chelsea last conceded an epl goal. Wigan/Sunderland---it will be interesting to see if wigan stick with their more defensive style at home this week. sunderland also adjusted their style in week 3 going with 3 central midfielders to clog up the middle of the park and using 1 forward...it worked also. so I'm a big fence sitter here. wigan have won 3 of last 4 at home vs black cats. wigan have not won back to back in 40 epl matches. sunderland only won 2 times away last yr. gl this week guys
