I deposit a check from 5dimes to my bank account on Friday. The check came from BMO. When I checked my online banking today there's no record of the deposit it doesn't even say pending or anything. I deposited my paycheck along with the 5dimes check at the same time and my paycheck has already shown up on my online banking but my 5dimes check has not. Has anybody had the same experience. My first thought was that maybe they put a hold on it but I am a little worried now that they may have lost it because it doesn't even show as pending.

as long as you have the receipt showing both deposits you should be fine.  just tell the bank show them the receipt and what happned.  never had your situation before.

The problem is that I threw my receipt away. I bank at a small bank and the teller was probably new because I had never seen her before. The amount was over 1k and I just hope she didn't screw it up or steal it. This is gonna be the longest 12 hrs of my life until I speak with the bank tomorrow.

Just talked to the bank and they said they have record of the deposit. It was just not showing up online because it was a Canadian check and it takes them 7-10 days to processes it.
