It was signed by the Gov. It should take 6-9 months from today to be implemented,

i think you're talking about new jersey passing a bill for online/internet casino gambling

sports wagering ruling has yet to come from judge shipp.  that's the big one (though it supposedly will be appealed all the way to the supreme court)

just out the measure FAILED

That jerk Shipp decided "if you want to change the law have Congress change it, not me"

The guy ruled earlier for the NFL.  Why the f/ck does he get a chance to decide it TWICE.  What an *sshole.

This is why I've learned to be a PESSIMIST.  Rarely these days does sanity and common sense rule the hour.

BUD----  100% correct, what a shame.  The country and states need revenue and then turn its  back on ways to generate it. And yet you can buy a lottery ticket in just about every state. Stupid, to many conservatives that can't think beyond their morals.

Lottery is the biggest ripoff in gambling but the states and feds have no problem ripping off their citizens every day of the year.

You want to know who this guy "Shipp" is?

He's a worthless POS.   Just a black judge appointed by the Senate to New Jersey.  For Affirmative Action reasons.  The same Senate that makes up our dysfunctional Government.

His whole reasoning, boiled down, is "not my problem.  Go back to the source (Congress) to get it changed."

What kind of f/cking reasoning is that?  You telling me it took him weeks/months to figure out that conclusion?  It pisses me off.  The guy is a worthless POS IMO and the best thing that can happen is for it to go to an appeals court, where hopefully a better judge can give a competent ruling, even if it's declined.

God what and *sshole, unworthy of his position, this "Honarable" Judge Sh** is.

You know, we got a black judge, we got black players, we have black halftime shows(Beyonce), we have black pregame shows (Alicia Keys)....

We got black Judges (Shipp)....

And they still b!tch and it just pisses me off.  Get in the back of the line and wait for jobs like everybody else, IMO.

And you can say what I'm saying is wrong, but YOU TELL ME if "not my problem, send it back to the Congress" is worthy of a judge.   If it was sound reasoning, I can deal with it, but the reasoning is H****S***.

I mean black Prez to start last post....we got Rosa Parks statue just bulit.

It's not enough.  It never IS enough. And people pay the price, because they get positions they don't deserve.  If they deserve it FINE, if they don't, THAT'S A PROBLEM in my book.

And I'll say this-BECAUSE this judge Sh** is an incompetent f/ck the first time it gets reviewed IMO, IF there are competent judges at the appellate court, is now...

Which gives me some hope.

This ruling was not unexpected.... now its time for another appeal. I can't see how this is constitutional. Citizens in one state (Nevada) are allowed to bet on sports and citizens in every other state are not. Right now the supreme court is ruling on a voting law system bc of inconsistencies between voting laws state by state.

The arguement I would make is that states like Colorado and Washington has made smoking pot legal which also goes against federal law.
