Can someone explain how Matchbook.com works? I know it is peer-to-peer betting system, but what I don't understand is when I post a unmatched odd on the site, am I backing the team or laying against the team? So say, tonight Ottawa Sentators are playing the Leafs and I post a line of +150 for Sens, do I win if Sens win or Leafs win?

(This was posted in another discussion category, but no one responded)

Thanks in advance

Your Laying the team if you offer the odds on the lay side of the screen.

so basically, whoever post a line on matchbook is the bettor, and whoever accepted is the backer.. basically the bookie

matchbook also allows you to exchange funds with pinnacle. the transfer will take about an hour.
