If you are sure you're dying, make the most life insurance plays you can for your family. Credit Unions double your deposits, additional life insurance policies, whoever will take you, load up.
If I were in your place, if my wife weren't rooting for me to live and not betting against me to make a monster payoff should I be gone, I'd be pissed.
Women who are widowed with adequate to lucrative life insurance policies on their spouses are less likely to remarry than those without or with lesser life insurance policies.

He is still alive. He's not doing great, but dont listen to what they tell you. I cant tell you how many people I have since met that have had death sentences only to outlive them and get better.

I'll never forget my father coming to me and saying "son, don't you EVER let me die like that". To sit and suffer through your final days is unimaginable! But, I'm sure you have your own beliefs on these things. Keep the vaporizer cranked on high and enjoy yourself!
