Conservatism at its finest.
Conservatism at its finest.
Conservatism at its finest.
Conservatism at its finest.
500 words, long on self-serving conjecture, short on facts.
Right is left, left is right, right is right. Blah, blah, blah.
There is no empirical objective evidence that suggests that liberal or conservative policies are the answer because there is no way to address something in a vacuum.
A locality is impacted by a state is impacted by the federal government. The left takes more from others to give to the poor, the right takes donates more to charity? There is no independent studies that support this garbage you espouse.
People are poor and remain poor because of their own personal failings as well the governments. There is no "one fits all" answer to the problems of poverty. That is much of the problem with government and elected officials.
Solely throwing welfare at problems is a bandaid that perpetuates poverty, removing all welfare prevents families from moving out of the cycle. The middle ground based on the specifics of the community is always the answer. What works for an uneducated community lacking manufacturing plants does not mean it will work for a community whose poverty is driven by disparity in incomes.
The idea is to move people out of the cycle but there isn't a magic wand. Programs that have worked in the past such as working education foundations, incentives for small business expansions, etc. have largely been abandoned by both parties.
Small businesses (where the hell is Lordpoint when you need him) have been overtaxed by Dems and abandoned by Repubs in favor of corps. A typical example of the failures of our government.

Slave AGAIN? I don't think you believe all welfare recipients are blacks but the implied message is clear. Lets make a group(liberal vs conservative), a race(white vs black) or whatever the enemy for easy control. Apparently, their strategies work.
I don't see why anyone would against welfare reform/abuse. I just don't see the difference between social welfare and corporate welfare and how those two are mutually exclusive? Unfortunately, some people from both sides would very seldom speak out against both with equal dismay..
