In a conference call today, President Barack Obama endorsed Sen. Mary Landrieu in her bid to win her Senate seat, which she has held for more than a decade, against Rep. Bill Cassidy ....
This ought to really help Landrieu ...who spent her entire re-election avoiding Obama and his policies....and the majority of Louisiana voters do not approve of Obama’s agenda and the way he has handled Obamacare or the economy.
So,, who thinks President Obama’s endorsement of Landrieu helps her campaign in the Dec.6th runofff.?
I say,,, this is the Obama KOD and Landrieu is toast ...Buh,bye Mary.
Add one more Republican Senator to the Senate ...Elephants 54 ..Jackasses 44 ,,Indy's 2 ......

I don't think people pay any attention to endorsements. Cassidy is the likely winner even if Obama endorsed him.
I do feel people pay attention to endorsements.......... that's why the democrats have brought out the Calvary ..first Obama then New Jersey Sen.Cory Booker, campaign in Louisiana for Landrieu ( black vote ) and Hillary Clinton hosted a New York City fundraiser for her on Monday ( womens vote ) ..
Oh yeah ,,,for what it's worth Stevie Wonder has endorsed Landrieu..
Put that up against Cassidy endorsements by big-name 2016 contenders, including Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ken., and Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
Whether endorsements count or not in helping the candidates win elections who really knows .. but one thing is for sure if a politician supports a candidate and they lose...the other side will use that to say your endorsements only produces losers..

she does not have a chance due to Mannas's telling his people to vote for her opponent. Her own party pulled 1.8 million in adds after November 4th.
Having a La senator heading the Energy Commission was a pretty big deal for an energy producing state. That's now gone forever. Living large off the taxpayer has made her fat and bloated.....both literally and figuratively.

jmw59, I see Landrieu went into a full meltdown yesterday..She denounced the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee saying they effectively abandoned her after the Nov. 4 midterm election.
Landrieu: The Democratic Senatorial [Campaign] Committee. "You know, they just walked away from this race,” The DSC probably feels no use throwing good money after bad ..
Landrieu has been effectively abandoned on airwaves too..about the only one airing TV ads for her is the Humane Society ....

The Senate runoff is not the only runoff in Louisiana on Saturday ..
Republican Ralph Abraham and Democrat Jamie Mayo are making their final pushes in the last few days leading up to Saturday's runoff election to become the next congressman for the 5th Congressional District
Zach Dasher, the ultra-conservative nephew of "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson, is endorsing Ralph Abraham...
The other runoff election in Louisiana is between Garret Graves (R), who served in Gov. Bobby Jindal’s cabinet and Edwin Edwards (D) former governor, who also happens to be a convicted felon.
I see,,, that Graves appears to have the upper hand heading into a Dec. 6 runoff....

Obama
hasn’t openly endorsed Landrieu – and Landrieu is running ads slamming
Obama and claiming she wants to overhaul Obamacare.
In short, they’re playing games with the voters in Louisiana who are likely to throw her out of office very soon.
Landrieu
has been a vocal supporter of Obamacare and spoke many times – with
claims that Obamacare would allow Americans to keep their doctors and
their own health care plans. Of course, she wasn’t telling the truth –
and most Americans are aware of this fact.
Cassidy is crushing Landrieu with a 24 point lead over her. Landrieu should reserve a U-Haul truck for January when Cassidy takes her place in the U.S. Senate.

They didn't walk away from the race....they ran. She must have pi$$ed someone off who is a real higher up in the Democratic Party. It's a shame really.....she was pretty loyal to the party.

Landrieu is now comparing herself to Saints quarterback Drew Brees, warning voters against replacing her with clueless rookie Bill Cassidy (a mere medical doctor and Congressman).
The problem for Landrieu is that Brees is both good at his job and quite popular in Louisiana, among other key distinctions.
