Canovsp, What? No one is quoting the Daily Show? The Daily Show is just a publication.
Jon Stewart used Politifact and he always uses unedited Fox News clips that are never taken out of context. I’ve never seen a clip that was taken out of context.
All the clips are always straightforward. That’s what makes them so funny. Fox News people are actually that crazy and stupid.
You asked for one example of a lie. Here’s one… December 12, 2013 O'Reilly: "The 'Denver Post' has actually hired an editor to promote pot." - False

Here you go. You can go looking for Fox News lies yourself. It turned up 785 results.
Money:
I ask you to read the entire post before responding. I don't want your judgement clouded.
The Daily Show always edits the clips they show, including FOX News clips. They have to. They don't have enough air time to show entire clips. I'm not criticizing them for that. I'm criticizing people who think the Daily Show is the gospel without seeing the entire clips they show. Here is an example.

As for the Politifact lie...Did you think I would take your word for this? You should know me better.
The Denver Post did hire an editor to
cover marijuana. The debate is whether this editor is promoting marijuana or just reporting on it. Basically, a matter of semantics. If one is against legalized marijuana (which by the way I'm not) you will say they are promoting marijuana use. If one is for legalized marijuana you will say they are just reporting on it.
Here is a link to the Denver Post. The readers can decide if these articles are
promoting pot use or just
reporting on pot use.

If this is the lie you found this is pretty weak. Compare that lie to...
Obama: If you like your plan you can keep your plan...
or
Obama saying a Youtube video was the reason our embassy in Benghazi was attacked...
or
Eric Holder saying he's never signed off on obtaining a reporter's
e-mail/phone records...
or
James Clapper saying the NSA doesn't collect data (ie spying) on American citizens
Once again, I do not want this thread to turn into me defending FOX News. The FOX News example is just one of 8 tactics liberals use. I think the reason for the push back from certain individuals is because going forward you know you won't be able to debate a subject
without using this or the other tactics listed.
I
will be disappointed if the haters
don't use one of these tactics because that will make the thread just go away.
