If you think the police are there to protect you, think again:
An Oregon woman was told by a 911 dispatcher that authorities wouldn’t be able be able to help her as her ex-boyfriend broke into her place because of budget cuts.
“Uh, I don’t have anybody to send out there,” the 911 dispatcher told the woman. “You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away? Do you know if he’s intoxicated or anything?”
Police say Bellah choked the woman and sexually assaulted her. He was arrested by Oregon State Police following the incident.

Maybe if the cost of hiring police weren't so expensive (pensions & healthcare), "budget cuts" would lead to police layoffs.
Maybe if the government had actual spending priorities, police wouldn't be getting laid off.
A local police department shouldn't be relying on federal grants for officer salaries, or to even run.
What do people think is going to happen when Medicare & Social security go insolvent?
Arm yourself, people. The government is corrupt, incompetent, and doesn't really care about you anyway.
