i understand there is still one or two members of the westboro baptist church who haven't committed to vote republican in 2016 election for some reason. they need to lock those guys in.

Promark-don't have a clue. This is why a true 3rd party of independent thinkers is needed. Not even a 3rd party per se but a loose group of moderates from maybe both sides or some fresh faces altogether would be better

i agree 100%.
but will this happen? Will the GOP be willing to "bend" on their principles? If not than it is reasonable to think that the GOP as we know it will be a thing of the past. lets face it -- times are changing. you either adapt with it or you get left in the cold.

well as an independent who is critical of both sides equally, I have to keep it real...
I wouldnt want you to end up like 14, bobslit or other of the "usual suspects" and their relationship with truth, facts, numbers, statistics...
matt, honestly is the GOP got rid of the theocratic/racist/social conservative/fuddie-duddies I would have to really consider getting on board...
seems like out of that 85% (give or take 10-15%)... I think that more than 50% of it comes from the GOP theocratic/racist/social conservative/fuddie-duddies
would you join the GOP if they got rid of the theocratic/racist/social conservative/fuddie-duddies?

not sure as that would significantly change the GOP as we know it. So who really knows what they would "look like".
But one thing for sure is that I would begin to take them seriously if this happened though.

you might be right about this... I didnt think of the scenario that would be similar to the teaparty pussies that didnt have the stones to actually run 3rd party and made it a vote for them was a GOP vote...
Based on the recent 21st centurty history, it would seem logical that the theocratic/racist/socially conservative/fuddie-duddies could take on the same cowardly route...
perhaps there can be three rebuttals to the state of the union address under the guise of three independent parties when they are all the same thing to appear to have more numbers and more powerful...
Its like how people on this site who embarrass themselves in debates/discussions over and over and over again create multiple accounts to appear to have more people on their side agreeing with them...
It seems pretty obvious that they know they are completely incapable and incompetent to engage in a civil and logical discussion... because if they could there would be no need to make multiple accounts to try to appear have more numbers....
