how did we get from all of us offshore gamblers being labeled as terrorists because internet gambling was how terrorists were funded...

to now supporting freedoms and rights to wager and use your money to gamble?

seems like in less then a decade we are going in an entirely opposite direction then the willingly give up rights and privacy in the name of "war on terror" against the "axis of evil" days...

perhaps you are right...

there was more money to be made by private companies who got blank checks for the reckless and senseless spending on the
"war on terror" in comparison to increased rights and freedoms around gambling and collect the revenue...

I like your optimism, but I wouldn't attribute the "progress" to a culture change. There is simply no money left to make war. People are struggling to feed their children. They are slowly beginning to realize they lost the unjust/radical/predatory war they started. That is the "War on Terror"

I think this madness and "terrorism" was all state-sponsored anyway. People underestimate their own government's capacity for evil and the ability for history to repeat itself with the assistance of corrupt agents in our own government.
