Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.

The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.

It was not immediately known what newspapers the women were delivering. After the shooting, the blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers lay in the street alongside.

The Family Research Council shooter, who pleaded guilty today to a terrorism charge, picked his target off a "hate map" on the website of the ultra-liberal Southern Poverty Law Center which is upset with the conservative group's opposition to happy rights.

Floyd Lee Corkins II pleaded guilty to three charges including a charge of committing an act of terrorism related to the August 15, 2012 injuring of FRC's guard. He told the FBI that he wanted to kill anti-happy targets and went to the law center's website for ideas.

At a court hearing where his comments to the FBI were revealed, he said that he intended to "kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims' faces, and kill the guard." The shooting occurred after an executive with Chick-Fil-A announced his support for traditional marriage, angering same-sex marriage proponents.

The guy lost his job and is mad at the LAPD and the people who cost him his job. This has nothing to do with democrat or republican or Obama.

I address issues, and what party i belong to doesnt make my mind up on the issue.  I can clearly think for myself, unlike you who has never gone against the right wingers ever on this site.

I never said the republicans caused all the postal services problems, i said the republican controlled congress in 2006 passed all kinds of bills that hurt the postal service, so get your facts right before you speak, because 99 percent of the time you are wrong.

I also said very bad management has caused the postal services problems. For years and years they have been under charging for postal rates, which has really hurt them.

But off course right wing flakes all just want to blame the unions and dont even bother to see who the real problem is.

Maybe someday, you will actually learn to use your own mind on things, instead of being a party sheep, baa, baa, baa
