The idea that there has been a debate in the past week are laughable.

There has been demagoguery,name calling and placing the blame.
These tactics have a short shelf life and groups like the NRA and GOA know that. It is like a two year old having a tantrum. You kind of have to ride out the storm until they tire themselves out. Then it is time for the adult to assert themselves.
