although there is one thing that we do agree on and that is that the red states have the largest percentage of individuals in the 47%. This much has been shown numerous times in recent months.

The government considers it a game, like Monopoly except we are the players. They keep printing money and giving it away. There will some day be ramifications for this, it's inevitable. Whether it's civil war or not is definitely a fair question. Eventually our dear leader will divide the country to the point that it could happen. 

The "Fiscal Cliff" will be $1.7T in cuts to defense/non-defense over 10 years and not touch entitlements. God forbid he take away any of the freebies. I'm sure employees (that's people that work for a living) get faced once in a while with owners (there the bad people in the libs minds) that say we have to cut back and you need to take a 10% paycut or a cut on hours due to our business (that's a company that MAKES money or closes the doors if it runs out) struggling. The employee usually opts for the cut to keep a job or help the company survive (unlike union run employees like Hostess).

But heaven forbid you look at the freeloaders and tell them they have to take a 10% cut in food stamps or housing aid. It's just unacceptable when you run the game.

why when rightwingers refer to freeloaders, does it always mean thigns like food stamps and housing aid but never refers to corporate welfare when corporate welfare is such a bigger number?

Well, it's because it won't fit their agenda. They always claim class warfare by the other side when they are doing the exact same thing.

Is that what your refering to? Please describe what "corporate welfare" is because I'll claim ignorance. What I am informed about is if the small business I work for goes under, nobody's bailing it out.

So Dirt, whose approving all the giveaways? The Federal Government correct? Too big, too powerful and too influential over EVERYTHING. I believe in states rights and their dwindling everyday. The federal gov is a monster now, and growing, I have no problem with stopping all the giveaways or at least unnecessary ones. Obviously, some people need help but at 47%, and as far as the corporate welfare, that's corruption plain and simple and it's wrong.

I think the solution is may be in this threads subject, but it won't happen until people get hungry, which might not be far off. Then you'll see our Feds in their glory. A government big enough to give you everything is also powerful enough to take it all away. Why do you think the left would love to take away the 2nd amendment?

 Good point. And unfortunately this is a point that is all too often ignored. Republican or democrat -- people are all too quick to think that the president is the sole person responsible for all decisions. and fail to realize that he does not make all of the decisions by himself.

I think you are being nice about it. Of course they KNOW. They choose to ignore that if the Potus isn't who they want. You know it's bad when you disagree with someone, you are automaticallly being termed a liberal or conservative as if it's so black and white.
