I was hoping for Rubio or Ryan, but we need Rubio in the Senate to have the numbers to replace Obamacare.
This choice puts the debt and economy in the face of everybody. I Love it!! A huge contrast in this election. Do you want an entitlement society, or a fiscal opportunity society.

Michelle could not carry Ann's panties. How much has Michelle spent of the taxpayer's money on trips abroad?
Liberals will complain how much Ann spends on her horse (HER OWN MONEY) but won't flinch on how much taxpayer money Michelle Ma Belle spends on vacations.

Well if Romney is supposedly hiding money in offshore accounts to not pay taxes on it, couldn't it be considered that she is using tax payer money to care for her horse?

Ryan will be able to articulate to the American people that increasing taxes on the rich will not come close to solving our fiscal problems. We need a new "hope and change" in this country. Can somebody please help me. What exactly was Obama's "hope and change" for the United States of America?

Here is a break down of something I found on Ryan.
I don't know much about the guy so I am trying to read up on him. I thought this might be beneficial to the discussion. I'm sure some people may lose their minds over it being from NBC but it gives some strengths and weaknesses for Ryan.

Romney picking Ryan as his running mate would signal that he’s doubling down on an austerity/deficit-reduction message.
i don't understand this one. how is this doubling down on deficit reduction when everything i've read on ryan's plan says the deficit would increase? sounds like romney is doubling down on hope and change, obama style.
here's one thing i pulled up.
Bottom line: By McIntyre’s calculations, the Ryan budget cuts taxes
by $4.3 trillion over 10 years; and it cuts spending by $4.2 trillion
over the same period. Since the former is larger than the latter, the
deficit would marginally go up.
And it’s much, much worse than this, McIntyre says, because he
doesn’t believe that the Ryan budget would only cut taxes by $4.3
trillion. His budget doesn’t specify any of the deductions and loopholes
he’d close to offset the huge cost of the tax cuts for corporations and
the wealthy, McIntyre points out — meaning the overall tax cut would
likely be far larger than he says, and that the deficit would likely
soar.

So wait, a plan that balances the budget is unacceptable to you but one that has added $6 T to the deficit over the past 3.5 years is one you want to go forward on??

GREAT selection. BOTH the Tea Party Anarchists AND the Liberals are happy. should make for a more "interesting" race. I will be curious to see what happens with Republican seniors poll numbers when they figure out Ryan want's to steal their Medicare.

This seals it for Obama. A Romney tax plan that actually raises taxes on the middle class, while slashing them for the wealthy coupled with Ryan's known desire to cut all social safety nets is absolute political suicide.

def. A person that says they support Ron Paul because they don't
want to admit they support Obama
example: A Paul supporter is more interested in how tax dollars are
used and isn't concerned how companies or individuals spend
their own money. A PSINO is just the opposite.
Gotcha.
If you want to call me a PSINO then go for it. I can live with it. However, I don't think my dislike for Romney should equate to any kind of love for Obama.
I have stated numerous times before in this forum that I will write in Paul or Johnson's name on the ballot before I vote for either Obama or Romney.
I've also said before that I would support any candidate, Romney included, that would be willing to end the war in Afghanistan and not attack Iran.
I just find it comical that the same people come in here on a near daily basis and say they will vote for anyone other than Obama. Then fail to support the candidate in their own party that best represents their party. If you think Romney is the solution to this country's issues than I feel bad for you. I don't believe Obama is either, but the GOP had their chance to put the best candidate in this election on the ballot, and they failed to do so.

there are two problems with this. one, what i read says ryan's plan increases the deficit and two, i'm not a fan obama's spending either for the most part.
