but the essential issue i was asking is that whether or not national ads like this will be effective. i disagree that theyre pointless. obamas weakness is the economy and being a big government guy.

I am actually for a comprehensive amnesty program for undocumented people and a path to citizenship.
When I talk about Liberal ideas I'm talking about limits to those things you referenced and liberal expansion of shitty government programs and gun control measures that don't make sense.
IE: Gun laws that are intended to keep criminals from having some guns but merely keep the guns out of the hands of law abiding people. Criminals do ci do around the law and get the guns they want anyway.
Liberal ideas like unlimited welfare, public assistance with no path to independence.
