"Well done, Spike Lee. Nice job, NBC. Keep up the good work, ABC. And to everyone else who’s been using a shooting in Florida to foment hate and divide people by the color of their skin, kudos. Don’t let this attack, and similar attacks across America, bother you. If you had a conscience, we never would’ve heard of you in the first place.”
This whole post-racial presidency thing is turning out to be something of a disappointment, isn't it?

You are defending bad behavior by saying Zimmerman was home chilling. What does Zimmerman chilling have to do with racial attacks in Baltimore, Chicago, and Mobile?
If white people around the country started ganging up on black people should I defend them by pointing out the three incidents listed above?
i was not defending any bad behavior.i was just simply pointing out the huge difference between the zimmerman crime & the attacks mentioned in bmore, chi, and mobile.zimmerman was gonna get off the hook with no trial,if public attention had not brought pressure on the state attorney.the offenders in the bmore, chi, and mobile attacks will go directly to jail, zimmerman was given the benefit of a doubt, because t martin was stereotyped.its that simple, but some of you in this forum take pride in keeping a racial scorecard! its simply about right & wrong in this case.

Really? Why then didn't he say that? Further, if the State of Florida
was trying to "sweep this under the rug" why did the Gov and AG get
involved? ===========================================
This is what No_Conest said "while the state of florida attempted to sweep martins death under the rug."
You can read but you can’t comprehend what you are reading.
A state attorney is a person who represents the State.
The governor got involved because a cover up was alleged to have happened.
I can’t read? Says a racially motivated person from inbred Virginia. Every post of yours has racially charged statements hidden behind politics. Yeah I take drugs that god put on this earth for us to use to free our minds. God created everything for a reason.
You might have a college degree but that doesn’t mean shit if you took job related classes only. You can read but you can’t comprehend what you are reading. I took business and liberal arts classes and took classes that teach science, physics, philosophy, sociology, political science, religious studies, global studies, and multiculturalism. Yeah you’re more educated than me.
"A person doesn't need to go to college to learn facts. He can get them from books. The value of a liberal arts college education is that it trains the mind to think." ~ Albert Einstein

Based on extensive interviews with relatives, friends, neighbors, schoolmates and co-workers of Zimmerman in two states, law enforcement officials, and reviews of court documents and police reports, the story sheds new light on the man at the center of one of the most controversial homicide cases in America.
The 28-year-old insurance-fraud investigator comes from a deeply Catholic background and was taught in his early years to do right by those less fortunate. He was raised in a racially integrated household and himself has black roots through an Afro-Peruvian great-grandfather - the father of the maternal grandmother who helped raise him.

Referring to a State Attorney (there are 20 of them) as "The State of Florida" is hyperbole.
The governor got involved because a cover up was alleged to have happened.
===============================
The involvement of the Gov & AG proves there was no attempt to "sweep this under the rug" by the state of Florida. Additionally, nothing in Wolfinger's actions demonstrates there was any attemp to "sweep this under the rug"
The only people saying such things are ones ignorant of the facts.

State Attorney Norman Wolfinger works for the state of Florida and is responsible for what happens in Sanford, Florida, which is in Seminole County. Anyone with reading comprehension and that’s aware of the case knew exactly what he was implying to.
U.S. Department of Justice announces investigation on the Zimmerman case, cover up meeting and right after Bill Lee temporarily steps aside as Chief of Police. The same day State Attorney Norman Wolfinger recuses himself from the case and Florida Gov. Rick Scott appoints Angela B. Corey, the state attorney for the Jacksonville area, to take over the case.
Chief of Police Bill Lee recently asked for his resignation and commissioners say they want to wait for an outside investigation to conclude into the handling of the case by police before accepting the resignation. I guess nothing about this seems suspicious. Why would two innocent people step down for no apparent reason?
The only people saying nothing suspicious happened are ones ignorant of the facts.
The prosecution feels there is enough evidence and so does the judge. Good thing this is in the hands of the justice system and we all will find out the truth.

Really? Because I wouldn't equate someone who represents 2 counties in FL as "the State of Florida"
If you live outside those counties, can you vote for Wolfinger?
Er, no. Duh. But apparently Wolfinger is now the State of Florida!

They are still in their jobs.
But notice you can't name anything, not one single thing, that shows this was attempted to be "swept under the rug"

I knew what No_Contest was referring to when he said, “while the state of florida attempted to sweep martins death under the rug." He was talking about State Attorney Norman Wolfinger, who works for the state of Florida. Is there another person who works for the state of Florida who was alleged to have had a secret meeting with Chief Bill Lee and Zimmerman’s parents? Who else would he be talking about? Duh…

Let's say your father was in possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and women's jewelry and was shot and killed by an armed watchman and the only witness was the killer and he said it was self defense. Would you trust the word of your fathers killer. Or would you want an investigation and trail to happen to find out the truth?

Thats too difficult to answer. My brother is a better example. He used to be a thug until he was paralyzed from the waist down from a motorcycle accident. My brother is the type that would throw punches first then ask questions later. The accident changed him into a different person....when he was younger, he kicked a dude in the nose when he was reaching down to grab somthing while they were fighting.
My brother, in his 'old' form, would never have tried to kill someone but he was full of rage at one point due to many factors dealing with how he was treated by his step dad.
If my brother had never had a change of heart I would assume that he would put someone he had a fight with into a fear of serious bodily harm.
Like I said, thats too difficult to answer because my dad would never steal anything and would submit verbally rather than fight or get his ass kicked.

Sad story but this is a NO spin zone. The spin stops here.
It's a simple question. All I want is a simple yes or no answer.

The better question is asking if his father was carrying a backpack. What was in it is irrelevant since Zimmerman had no idea what it contained.

The answer to your simple question is yes. I would like to understand as much as possible of what happened. If there was much that can't be determined, as in this case then I would hold my own personal judgment based on the personality and past actions of the shooter.
If he is a thug, then I don't believe him. If he is a generally good person, with good intentions then I give him the benefit of the doubt.
Like for instance, if he tutored black students in his spare time or somthing similar.

I would NEVER give the benefit of the doubt towards my father’s killer EVER. You kill my father, you’re a guilty killer until proven other wise. I wouldn’t care if the killer fought with a cop before, seemed mentally ill, was aggressive towards women, had a jekyll and hyde aggressive personality according to people who knew him and would snap at any moment, and disobeyed 911 emergency dispatchers. All that would matter to me is that he killed my father and was the only witness. I would want that man arrested and investigated.
