#28 Posted: 3/8/2012 11:31:58 PM Of course, alot of the #'s look bad on Obama's record. As far as the unemployment rate & a couple others, they were a natural progressive fallout from the financial collapse & by far the largest % of negative numbers were in the 1st few mos after he took office. You can't turn water into wine overnite & in this extremely severe case, not even a few years - |

Um, the economy lost jobs in every single month of 2009 and in six months of 2010.
That is not "1st few months" at all. |

either that of this thread simply s trolling trying to bait a rise out of the "right winged nutjobs" hoping that they would lack the impulse the control to stop themselves from revealing themselves...
I wonder which posters he meant specifically as "right winged nutjobs"

They might as well have all said, spent your money in an unreasonable manner in a way that you probably wouldn't like.
This could be said about every administration ever. |

#42 Posted: 3/9/2012 7:57:58 AM I agree it could be,
Reading through this list there are some examples that are so paper thin it is ridiculous.
Whatever, I think everyone knows who they are voting for by now.
Except for those that are waiting to see who the GOP is going to tell them to vote for. |

I love some of the stuff you guys pin on Obama.

Well my first point would be when did I, personally, give him credit for killing Osama? At this point in my life, I need a little more than the word of the Government that he was killed in the manner they claim he was killed. Forgive me for needing some sort of evidence to believe the the Gov's version of the events. To my knowledge there is no photo or video or any sort of visual evidence to rely on. If I am wrong about this than please point me in the right direction. I'm not saying I don't necessarily believe the Gov is lying about this. I'm just saying some sort of evidence would go a long way in convincing me.
I don't necessarily agree with everything on that list. Nor am I voting for Obama. I just get tired of the same old threads over and over blaming him for everything under the sun. I do think since he is "officially" dead that we should leave Afghanistan.
I don't want to turn this into a Bush vs. Obama thread. But if you are going to give Obama credit for getting OBL, then shouldn't Bush get some of the blame as well for these deaths in Afghanistan as well since he WASN'T able to get OBL in the better part of 6-7 years? Wouldn't even more of these deaths been prevented had we been able to kill him years ago? |

#47 Posted: 3/9/2012 9:32:47 AM Reasons not to vote for Obama:
Federal debt: up 36%
Federal deficit: averages 85% higher than predecessor's largest deficit.
Gas prices: up 105%
Number on food stamps: all time record
Number of Americans working: lowest in 30 years. Yes, there are fewer Americans working than when Reagan ran for re-election.
Number of jobs created: Negative 2.1 million |

#50 Posted: 3/9/2012 9:47:22 AM A great reason to vote for Obama!!!
The federal government recorded its worst monthly deficit in history in February, according to a preliminary report Wednesday from the Congressional Budget Office that said the deficit in fiscal year 2012 is already more than half a trillion dollars.
The CBO’s figures show that despite repeated efforts to trim spending, the government has borrowed 42 cents of every dollar it spent during the first five months of this fiscal year.
The nonpartisan agency projected the government will run a deficit of $229 billion in February, the highest monthly figure ever. The previous high was $223 billion a year ago, in February 2011.
It is the 41st straight month the government has run a deficit — itself a record streak that dates back to the final months of President George W. Bush’s tenure. Before now, the longest streak on record was 11 months.

Good thing the economy is recovering, huh?!!?
