#1 Posted: 9/14/2011 4:11:11 AM I was just venting earlier this week about Cain on my "9/11 Politics" thread
and now this?
http://www.seattlepi.com/news/article/Testimony-Cain-campaign-concealed-happy-aide-s-role-2169638.php
"Herman Cain's
presidential campaign tried to conceal the role of a top adviser who
had been ousted as leader of a happy pride group in Wisconsin amid
financial scandal, a former staffer has alleged in legal testimony Cain's former Iowa straw poll coordinator, , made the allegation in a letter applying for unemployment benefits and in testimony during a hearing last week"."A conservative candidate,
"Mr. Cain is on the record as stating that he
believes homosexuality is a sin and a choice. And they know that, if his
top adviser, his highly paid adviser, is openly happy that it would cast a
negative light on Mr. Cain and would cost him in his efforts to become
president," he testified. "Basically the campaign was trying to cover up
the fact that Mr. Toomey was still involved. They asked ... me to help
them cover up that fact." I said Cain was done earlier in the week with his 9/11 Sing-Along Video.... as seen here: http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/scarce/herman-cains-incredibly-tasteless-911-video
But I think now there is no arguing that this guy is done... Liar/hypocrite , keeping with questionable company, narcissistic, self promoting, Salesman...
I am glad that this guy no longer has a shot at being president....
we see what type of person he really is... poor judgement and choices will elicit a natural reaction so we know what will happen next...

#4 Posted: 9/14/2011 5:25:45 AM kroger, what are you even talking about?
I never said anything about Cain being or not being happy...
Figures that Obama bashing would start to try to Spin/deflect from the topic of the thread which is Herman Cain and his run for president being officially over...
So predictable to try to hijack the thread like the Herman Cain Sing-along thread...
We all knew that was going to happen...

#6 Posted: 9/14/2011 8:22:15 AM you okay there kroger?
or are you upset that Herman Cain got exposed for the type of person he really is...
Honestly until recently I did not know much about Herman Cain other then his ability to sell products to consumers... But with the Sing-Along video and now scandal... he is done for.... the system worked... just get to know the man and his moment in the spotlight and run for president is finished...
So well I know what will happen next... Either he concedes the race or he comes back and allows one more epically disastrous event/behavior to ruin him completely... Dont these things happen in 3s?
third times a charm...

#8 Posted: 9/14/2011 9:39:45 AM DL its amazing how candidates with an R by their name get weeded out eventually when they have some sort of scandal and those with a D by their name only get weeded out after they have been completely stupid.
Examples:
Maxine Waters
Charlie Rengal
Ted Kennedy |

Why is this nonsensical? because it isnt about Obama?
Because it is about Cain showing his true colors and you are embarrassed?
Why would you even post that?

I disagree that he never had a chance... There were numerous posters in this forum that championed him and thought he was fit to become president...

happy people are such a small part of the population and i imagine most of these nuts rarely come in contact with them, if ever. when these people are so anti-happy and bring it into politics, i'm going to assume we're dealing with a closet person who's brain has been warped by crazy religious beliefs.
the alternative would be just your run of the mill politician using a non-issue to rally the lowest common denominator, the morons who wrap get their brains around the real issues- the ones that affect 100% of the population but require more thinking than, bible = good, happy people = bad.
as for whether cain had a chance, i agree with koaj but fortunately, i guess we'll never know. |

Why are you even bringing up those people on a thread about Herman Cain?
this not a "it happens to both-sides" thread... or about all republican candidates...
This is specifically about the individual Herman Cain and his campaign...
It is funny how when you and others get defensive/insecure, that the pattern is simply to bash the other side and try to spin the discussion...

I think there are more happy people out there then you think... but not anything large enough to fear, but the wackos are taught to fear them so they can hate them... and the hate is justified/dictated by the bible..
but to me the happy part is a non-issue... It is the financial mismanagement part
I mean this guy is who people want to balance the budget?

#18 Posted: 9/15/2011 8:00:10 AM the more I learn about Cain, the more I see him as a lesson in what I would never vote for...
Here some of those things...
Never vote for...
1. Some one who hosts a show named after himself... yes the "Herman Cain Show"
2. Some one who has never actually won and election... I mean if they voted against him Georgia, why should the rest of the country vote for him...say what you want about GW, but at least he actually won an election and held some type office...What has Cain ever won/done
3. Some one who is a Minster.
Cain is an associate minister at Antioch Baptist Church North in Atlanta...I am sure the founding fathers would love for clergy to be president...

5. Don't ever vote for someone who sends pictures of his cock to other women on twitter.
or another one...
6. Don't vote for anyone who says they have a "jobs plan that will get our economy back on track"....but doesn't want to talk about it until he returns from vacation. |

#25 Posted: 9/15/2011 9:48:51 PM Jersey I read your post 22 and reized that you are just another person trying to talk about Obama on a thread about Cain.
It's like you Post on the thread only to stear the discussion away from Cain rather then simply contributing to the discussion?
So what are your thoughts on Cain? Do you agree or disagree with mine?
Prediction: A. More Obama talk B. Crickets |
