I'm being serious, wall - do these companies (or companies in general that are based in the US) find it more profitable to export their productions & jobs because of the ridiculous amounts of laws and regulations in America?
Also, I'm not versed in the affairs of corporate America and the benefits it gets from the government. I'm struggling to find out how government truly benefits anyone......
Then they can remove themselves from existing in this country and move to another.
I have zero sympathy for corporations, they are the beneficiaries of the government much more than the private individual. They profit off exploiting..exploiting labor, exploiting the consumer, exploiting the tax code, exploiting import taxes, exploiting regulators.
rick, using your logic, the end consumer should be the only one paying, corporations can cheat, exploit and use advantage since they have such loyalty to our country right?
Its a no-brainer to me, if we have import taxes, then that includes US corporations as well. If a corporation profits in other countries and they PAY taxes in the other country, then they can use that tax as a credit towards their total liability here, JUST LIKE citizens do.
In fact I think if you are an exporter of production you should pay a higher tax as a penalty for outsourcing jobs. Since the government constantly subsidizes and protects US corporations from foreign imports, the government should protect US corporations who do not export production by upcharging US corporations who export production..just as we upcharge Brazil and their sugar imports.
Stop giving corporations freebies, it is crushing the consumer and destroying our job base.
