Unions and Socialism (One in the same) are ruining the American economy as much as the Federal Government (Democrats and Republicans). Eliminate unions and dissolve the Democrat and Republican parties and the economy will flourish!

you miss the point, don juan. the "Big 3" are multinationals that could gave a DAMN about where they manufacture as long as they get the cheapest price. those bitches have been manufacturing parts and doing assembly in Mexico for YEARS. I used to haul seat springs and frames to El Paso where they went across the border and came back the next night as completed bucket seats.

people that think that "outsourcing" is a new thing or only started with NAFTA are incorrect. I was flying those auto parts overnight for assembly back in the mid 1980's.

and as for Chezman's "Eliminate unions", that's the first thing a totalitarian dictatorship does when they come to power.

But, Republicans, Democrats, and unions are powered by corruption. So, in theory, they cannot survive!

I have met so many people that are members of unions and they all seem to have a sense of entitlement. If union workers got raises based on how hard they work, they wouldn't get raises. I live in Seattle were we have Boeing workers that are part of a union, and they will tell you that they really don't do much of anything at work, but because they have union representation, they are well paid to do nothing. I work hard and take what I get. I don't pay someone to make sure that I get something for nothing. Plus union workers bitch and complain more than anyone I have ever met. "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, and I'll give a little in return"
