First off don juan, it doesnt take a dam math major to figure out whats going to happen if the population goes up, while all the jobs get sent overseas.  Stop the jobs from going overseas and the economy could change overnight.

As far as taxing people cause they make more is not what this country was founded on.  What is the incentive for people to want to make more money if they are going to have to give more of it away, so the lazy people who dont want to go out and work can sit on their asses and profit from the other persons hard work.  We have a free loader system and thats whats wrong with our country.

The people who make less always think the guy who makes more money owes him something.  We are all equal and capable of earning what the other guy makes, you just have to get up off your ass and do it.

We need a flat tax in this country, that way everybody will pay the same fair value as the other guy.

dj, yes i made that post and back then i was convinced the republicans were the bad guys, but as i did more reading and digging i came to the conclusion that it is the democrats who are the ones who are going to destroy the country.

Yes i still blame the republicans for allowing the jobs to go overseas, because the republicans are always in the corner of the rich greedy companies who arent happy making a profit and just want every last penny they can drain from the American people. These companies that have shipped all the jobs overseas are the ones who ruined this country right now.

As far as my taxes going up, if they have to go up because they are to low thats fine, but everybody should just pay an equal percentage based on what they earn.  I person shouldnt pay a bigger percentage just because he makes more money.  That goes against what our country was founded on.

My parents are both extremely liberal. I have voted for more Republicans than both combined. My father is a war hero who was responsible for bringing a lot of people who did bad things In Vietnam to justice. He also spoke out against the fact that the government inadequately trained, monitored, and promoted, which led to a lot of atrocities. Even so, he was treated with disdain by protestors, something I was not alive for, but something I will never forgive. No doubt you and he would disagree about things that happened over there.

So if rent everywhere you live is $800 a month and noone brings home more than $200 a month, wouldn't all those apartments be empty?  Wouldn't the simple economics of capitalism and supply/demand bring prices down?  The goal for the apartment is to get the maximum amount of rent possible while maintaining full occupancy.  

This question is for all the lower class and poor people on welfare:  How long have you been voting for the democrats and why are you still poor?  Are you more or less dependant on the govt. now vs 25 years ago?
