I think it had to do with money..

Okay  I will answer my own question

Palin's office confirms that the mounting legal bills associated with the myriad ethics charges have cost the governor and her husband more than half a million dollars. The governor's critics say she is leaving the state high and dry in order to plot a presidential run in 2012.

err, it's upward of a mil.  latest charge just levied.  there goes another 100K.  

personally, i am glad she is out.  she is one of the few people that can energize the base.  that's why she's such a lightning rod for the state-run media.  they target only who they fear and by their own actions, she scares the crap out of them. 

she needs to take a break, reload, then hit the road to espouse true CONSERVATIVE values to Joe/Jane Lunchbox across the country.   she can and will rally the base but the RINOs need to get out of her way (pulling a Specter would be even better).  f- the moderate, big tent repubs like mccain and colin powell.  born losers.  will just "big tent" us into 4 more years of neo-marxism. 

Romney/Palin ticket would energize the electorate, put the fear of god into the state-run media, invite more personal attacks that regular Americans loathe and, most likely, roll Irkle/Biden in 2012, despite what Acorn or the Black Panthers come up with to steal the vote.

first step is 2010 though.  that reckoning day is fast approaching.  keep taking the rope, libs.

The only way that Obama will be ousted in 2012 is if there are some fresh faces with some new ideas.
 
Palin, Romney, Huckabee, Giulianni. NO WAY!
Ron Paul is the only previous runner that has good ideas.

Run that Romney / Palin ticket up there in 2012.....it will be the biggest Repub landslide defeat since Goldwater.
 
What did that famous physicist say about insanity?
 
"Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"....that would be the "insane" Repubs going with that ticket.

So with him in office we let everyone go BK, massive recession and unemployment at 15% to teach a lesson.

Then we spend TRILLIONS on gold, ramping the price to 5-10k per ounce, worse than the run on oil last year.

Disband the FED, let our pathetic treasury destroy and obliterate monetary policy.

Pull foreign troops while destroying foreign economies with the gold standard, great combination.

Gee I wonder if Paul owns gold as an investment.

more poo poo for SP and MR?  mitt's not just another community organizer, friend.  man understands economics, not just economic bondage.  futhermore, he understands how to run a biz.

Faber, the GOP as we know it now is dead. If you think that the Christian bible thumping loonies who form the base of what is left of the Neo-Cons are going to back an infidel Mormon for Prez, you are smoking something even Rush would find rephrensible.
      The GOP as it is now constituted is the party of no.They hate every move that Obama has tried to make(right or wrong) yet come up with nothing in return. ( Savings accounts to finance health insurance) No one could be that stupid. You know that the GOP is owned by the Insurance lobby, the Pharm companies and the Gun lobby and care nothing about anyone else. If this single payer-public option health plan passes, and it is looking better, and it works the GOP will be as defunct as they should be, at least until they come up with some policies that actually benefit the middle class and not only the landed estate.
