If McCain wants this he's gotta have the showing of his career.   If i'm McCain i go balls deep tonight.    I hit Obama with the kitchen sink!    Every scum bag he has/does associate with, i call him out on it.    He's got to get across to people that when Dems blame Bush for the economy its to divert attention from their own failures. Angd for God sake make people understand what Obama wants to do with the cap gains tax.

Only way McCain will win this election is if they are able to move the focus away from the economy.  That doesn't seem very likely right now.

THE ECONOMY            Obama has been given a gift.   All he has to say (and DOES) is BUSH.     It blows my mind that a large percentage of the population just blindly excepts that as fact.             Congress has the lowest approval rating in history!  even lower than Bush's.  I truly believe the average voter doesnt even know that the Dems have been in control for two years now.

i dont think they care

ive given up on the electorate as a whole and given up on journalism. if this was a mccain or another R's background, they would be tarred and feathered on the national mall in dc already

McCain can't use this debate to bash Obama.  He has to answer the questions that people pose.  He will look evasive and slimy if he uses questions to launch personal attacks.

I know koaj, I am in a swing state and we are getting bombarded with ads and I have already had two recorded messages calling me in the last 30 mins., this month is going to suck.
 
It's like people don't want to question their candidates anymore. Don't want to be rude or whatever.

Not sure why Reps are thinking Town Hall format favors McCain.
 
I don't see it that way at all.  Huge visual advantage for Obama.  Body Language and all.  He looks very comfortable and poised with a microphone in his hand.

I've looked under both the hoods since July.

As Ferguson said last night, everybody knows somebody who has associated or committed a crime.  That's not a big deal.
