The vote has just come in and won. BUT, the House leadership of the Republicans and Democrats is right now doing backroom arm-twisting to get your representatives to change their votes. There was a thread posted at Wagerline months and months ago warning of this impending collapse. All of my people took there 401K funds out. To those who listened, congrats. To those who are at the mercy of failed plans, sorry for your loss. Did you know Congressman Ric Keller said that the head of Washington Mutual was paid 20 Million dollars for his last 17 days on the job? You think they care? No. That is how they still think! They think you owe them for wrecking it all! lol They are weak sick, demented men who care NOTHING about any of you.

Who is buying the Banks? For pennies on the dollar I might add. Do the math people. More will fail, they will buy what they want for pennies and let the rest die off. Consolidation is socialism , which is fascism. Which is what they are....

Who is being indicted? Nadda. Who is being held accountable? Nadda. Is this a plan to help every single homeowner who is in foreclosure to get out and save there home? No! It's a corporate bailout.

Show me a plan to hold those

for this and let them face criminal charges and show me a plan to help EVERY person facing foreclosure because of these criminal acts and we can talk. After all, it was there scam which created this Nation's downfall.

It appears the so called Conspiracy guys are divested, not at risk, and out of debt. You? My advice. Try listening to people who have nothing to gain by warning you of future events. Divide and concur has always been there motto. I want nothing from any of you. I try to inform, inspire and warn you of what I know will happen as do several others here. I used to be one of the bad guys as the Wagerline guys know but that was long ago. I woke up. I still have guys on the inside who are keeping an eye on the robbers. Not all people are bad in the Government. But the ones at the TOP are pure evil scum. Quote me on that.

Have not read the bailout bill and if I did, probably won't understand it anyway so not sure if the bailout is good or bad.

What I am sure about it is that the system is broken and these "100% Pure Free Market" supporters cannot have it both ways.  If it takes some financial pain for these right wing supporters to get with it and realize that our economic situation will be better under smarter Democratic leadership, maybe an economic meltdown is what we need.  Take the lumps now and start building down the road.

Gotta run out the door but will listen later. 

I'm not convinced the housing market is the problem.  It is a factor and possibly a byproduct but not the cause.  The problem is the overral economy coupled with Wall Street leveraged out because of bad balance sheets (because we cannot compete with Asia).

If we beat Asia in economic circles, we win.

Meanwhile, everybody in America is rolling around in Asian cars and products.  I've said it here a 100 times but I'll say it again.  I have never owned an Asian car in my life.

IF banks dont do business with each other then there will be no lending to anyone big small, corporate or joe blow. Home equity line and lines of credit to make payroll dry up and people lose jobs and pensions and house etc

If that's what it takes to change the mindsets of these "trickle down" GOP voters, then that's what it takes.  They should lose their lines of credit for supporting these foolish and broken economic policies for so long.

The healthcare system is broken.  Something needs to be done.  The Democratic solution is not to create more government, it is simply to provide a "clearing house" for more options.  Eventually some mandates will come down on employers but something needs to be done.  Too many uninsured people rolling around out there.  The Government "mandates" auto insurance so why is it so extreme to do "something" with health insurance.  Which is more important.... autos or health?

Right now, the greedy insurance companies are controlling health insurance. 

Not familiar with fannie/freddie situation.

The next step which needs work is something for the elderly.  I see elderly people without a pot to piss in and it's sad.  We should help them some how.

Any problems cutting the two biggest portions of the Federal Budget?  Military spending and Interest?  Is that TOO OBVIOUS?  Or do people like looking on page 500 for the small stuff?

As far as taming Government Spending.  I'll tell you one thing right now.  McCain & Palin couldn't tame a puppy.  Not even sure if they can read and write much less "reform" government spending.

The last two Democratic Presidents balanced their budgets and the last three Republican Presidents did not.
