Can you say "desperation"?  I would probably feel the same way if I was a supporter of the republican party.  The lipsticked hockey mom not only failed to answer basic foreign policy questions, but speaks exactly like a small town, PTA mom who is so out of her league that I am embarrassed for her.   If she is the governor of Alaska, what does that say about that state?

I say the state is doing pretty well.

The Dems should focus on McCain not her.  Where they are attacking her instead of McCain so hard it should speak volumes as to thier worries at the moment.

comparing their #1 to the GOP's #2 shows how scared they are. also highlights their #1's shortfalls

The dems aren't focusing on the hockey mom...they don't need to.  The interview that Gibson did with her did more for their cause than any smear campaign any politician could create.  The repubs HAVE to be rethinking that choice and that has nothing to do with the dems or their policies.  Obama will take the high road on this because it's very clear that she is not ready...not only not ready to lead, but literally not educated enough on basic political issues.  I was actually shocked and embarrassed for her..she should have never been put in this situation...she is in WAY OVER HER HEAD.

What?? they are not being focused on her?  Are we watching the same election????

All you see are attacks and smears on her. Political and for some unknown reason personal. Well I do know why......Since she was announced McCain has had his first lead in the polls!!!!!

I believe a Democrat said it very well himself.

'Hillary might have been a better pick than me'

That woman that the Dems are concerned about was a major curveball to them and they are on the ropes right now. Qualified or not, she will make the difference in this election.

you have it backwards

the entire MSM wolfpack obama presscorp has come down on Palin like a ton of bricks b/c they had no arsenal ready for her like they did for romney or pawlenty. obama has sent 30 PIs to alaska this week to dig up dirt on her and her family and its backfiring in your faces. small town folk, women, moms, working class people...they all identify with her and they resent the elitist media condescention

i would say at this point, the messiah is in over his head

can you find me an election in his life where he's actually run a full campaign against someone? you cant b/c he hasnt. he is an orator...nothing more, nothing less

when elected to Ill senate he used lawyers to force alice palmer off the ballot...then for US Senate, Jack Ryan dropped out in June and Alan Keyes took his spot in august and got killed

lipps- the funny thing is that the media thinks they are vetting her and they are not being partisan or mean

whoever's idea Palin was may go down as one of the best moves ever in presidential politics (they have to win of course)

So tell me KOAJ.....for the sake of saving some bucks on your personal taxes, you would willingly put this person minutes away from the presidency?

A religious fundamentalist, someone closed minded to science fact, a person who would willingly deny your wife, or sisters, or daughters the right to make a decision to terminate a pregnancy if they were raped, a person who essentially reached her zenith of competency at the Mayor's level.

I would really like you to ask your wife how she feels about the possibility that she would have to carry a fetus to term, if god forbid, she was impregnated due to an act of violence by a stranger?

And you would willingly take away this right to choose for all the women in America to save on your taxes?

Unbelievable, imo.

the 30 PI's is from the WSJ earlier this week

i would sooner put her close to the presidency than i would put obama in the presidency. he scares me more than she does especially if the dems control the house and senate. one sided rule is no good in washington for either party. gridlock is good b/c that means almost nothing gets done

he has repeatedly said he will end nuclear missle development, cut military spending, yet last night he was tough on national defense talking about how the missile shield inpoland is neccessary. i dont know what im getting from him and what i should i believe.

he told oreilly he would leave every option on the table for iran but didnt say he would prepare for it. i dont think you can be Commander in Chief that way

the Court wont overturn Roe v Wade anytime soon...any new SCOTUS nominee has to get confirmed by the senate and that will be D hands for a while. no chance of an overturn for a long time IMO. you need 51 to confirm and 60 to veto a filibuster. no one is getting 60 anytime soon

kujay - she's the governor of alaska, not a mayor

if we want to argue zenith of competency then obama should be referred to as community organizer/law school lecturer

he voted present in Illinois SS and in washington he has run for president his whole term as senator

the election is obama v mccain, not obama v palin. i cant believe how this is playing out

I think Mets have posted atleast 30 threads today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EouKQBPkD-g

Everytime i see one of his posts, i feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, when he on the 5'th day just knock the shit out of him before even starts talking.

there are 4 options:

1. as kujay said, ignore him
2. call him fatso or lardo
3. ask him to back up his bullshit with facts or counter him with facts
4. remind him of his attitude towards to the troops
