I don't recall ever seeing two potential candidates bashed, ripped apart, called inappropriate names, disected, trashed, investigated, and humiliated as I have seen Hillary and Sarah.

Where are all the posts digging into the secret details of Obama, Biden and McCain??

As usual, the boys club still rules.

All over this forum you can find horrible insults to these two female pioneers.  Noone has the right to rip apart these women's personal lives.  I'm sure you can find worse by just looking in the mirror, and I KNOW they've done more good than you will find looking in the mirror.  I'm sick of this "holier than thou" attitude.  It amazes me that so many of you care more about the insignificant dirty details, than the actual problems in this world, and who is going to be the best person to help a suffering America.

I for one, may not agree with everything Hilary or Sarah say and do, but their spirit, drive, determination, and resilience should be respected and commended!!!  They are making history in a man's world, and all you can talk about is pregnant 17 year???  Sad.  Very sad.

Oh please, they've been digging into Obama for 19 months.

How was Hillary trashed and humiliated?

As for Palin, this is par for the course when you spring somebody, anybody, brand new on the country when the person hasn't been vetted and is a complete unknown.  Has nothing to do with gender.  The real issue here is McCain'd judgment.

Depeche...Hillary announces her campaign for dem. nominee.  One of the first things she was asked was about Bill's sexual scandal.  THAT is humiliating.  How would you like it if you were applying for a new job and all they wanted to know was how you felt when your spouse cheated, several years ago?  How Hillary feels about the scandal is her private business, and for it to be brought up in a press conference when she is making history, is disrespectful AND humiliating.  And then the press had the audacity to ask Chelsea.... nice.

Hillary is in no way responsible for what Bill did, nor is Chelsea.  Therefore she should have never been confronted about it.  And his scandal has NOTHING to do with what she could/could not offer as a President.  So why discuss it???  Get the point????

You may be right, but I don't even recall her being asked that.  Could be.  As for Chelsea, as I recall, it wasn't the media, it was some person at a town hall.

I don't believe the media was sexist against Hillary or against Palin.  All the stuff about Palin now is because McCain sprung a person for VP just 2 months before the election that nobody knows anything about and nobody had ever heard speak and whose views are completely unknown and undeveloped.  They should have put her on the short list months ago and got these things out of the way beforehand.  None of the is Palin's fault, it's reckless McCain's fault.

Koaj.... yeah I wonder the same thing.  I just hope when we finally do get real answers it's not too late to do anything about it.

Second...I think both sexist and racist.  But everyone tiptoes around the race card, yet will slam mothers full throttle for not having a perfect family.  Why is that?

Depeche...Chelsea may have been asked in a town meeting, but the media ran with it and publicized the hell out of it.  Causing further humiliation.

If you think none of this is Palin's fault, then stop berating her and turn your anger towards McCain.  As far as I can see, her flaws are minor compared to Obama's.  But her flaws are exposed for the world to judge.  Obama's vote to kill abortion survivors is one of the many examples I can give you that has been hush hushed.  That vote alone is worse than ANYTHING they have dug up on Palin yet and worse than Bill having an affair.

Sadly I know more about Palin now than I know about Obama.  (both personally and politically).

This is for SecondAgain..
racism or reverse racism in America?

Subject: Please read a few lines from Obama's books

.
Think you know who this man is?
This possible President of the United States !! Read Below and
ask yourselves, is this REALLY someone we can see as the
President of our great nation!!!!

Below are a few lines from Obama's books; In his words!

From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
From Dreams of My Father:  'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

And FINALLY the Most Damming one of ALL of them!!!

From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'
