#1 Posted: 7/9/2007 1:54:57 AM Just finished watching my second episode ever of this a minute ago and, not saying good or bad, but what the hell am I watching?
It's kind of compelling for a reason that I can't ascertain right now (tired,1:53 am, bottle wine), and I think I'll watch next week,
but what the hell point or direction if any are they taking?

#3 Posted: 7/9/2007 5:18:49 PM The thing about this show is.....nobody knows where the hell this show is going, I have watched all the episodes now just to see if it has a point.
After the 2nd episode I did some searching on Google and even the critics who got to see the 1st 3 before us said they don't know where the show is going but felt compelled to watch. Weird show that keeps you tuning in week after week. |

Oh, don't get me wrong, I am not saying this thing is a classic. When you watch it though, it seems to go nowhere, yet you want to see what the hell is going on and where this John guy came from. They give you no real clues, so it makes me keep tuning in. |

#9 Posted: 7/10/2007 6:01:09 PM I'm in for now, mostly because there's nothing else on and I tune in for Entourage anyway.
I like the characters and want to give it a few more episodes. |

But NJDevils, Showtime is not to be brushed aside too quickly as being the stepchild of the movie channel original series genre.
Afterall, they are the home to one of my favs, "Weeds". |

That's what is messed up about it, it never says where he is from. He repeats things people say, and the guy asked him "are you from Cincinatti or something John", and most of his answers to questions are the questions themselves. |

NJ, maybe because not as many people subscribe to Showtime? I just like the programs on the movie channels the best because network TV has gone completely to shit these days.
