This is one f-d up league.  Anyone ever play in a league like this? I am thinking that it would be obviously a top priority to get RB then QB first.  After that, I am really confused.  RB's that catch the ball are probably most valuable.  As for defense I am thinking linebackers that get sacks are the most valuable.  But this league is too much.  Wish I didn't join but it will make things interesting.

how many defensive players are on each team? 1 point for a completion is tremendous completely skews the qbs forget everything else just grab peyton brees or rodgers and its game over.  4 completions = a TD?  retarded scoring

I agree with this. I would probably take Peyton number 1 overall in this league since there is an emphasis on QB efficiency. You can also get PPR RB's later on in the draft.

Weird scoring though, did the commish give any reason as to why they do that?

I agree.  WR's won't be as valuable.     100 yards, 10 receptions, and a touchdown would get you 21 points.  RB's get 1 point per carry.  Gotta get a work horse.

I was thinking the same.  Peyton would be my first pick.  Then Brees and Rogers.  My first time in his league so he says he does it this way every year. Oh well.

I'm surprised he didn't give a reason behind it. I mean, it's his league and he can do whatever he thinks is best. I played in a league that allowed a QB in a flex spot. So it was essentially a two QB league without specifying that it was a two QB league. I think the commish used that to get over on new guys but I signed up for it so no complaining.

BOL with your draft. I think this adds a different dynamic to the draft and turns most projections on their collective head. I don't think I would even bother taking a WR with my first 6 picks. Just hope to hit a HR with a couple of guys later. Alshon Jeffrey, De'andre Hopkins, Aaron Dobson. Get a bunch of those guys later and hope one or two pan out.

I still think there's more value at RB than QB under this scoring system.  While one point per completion is big, there's a quarter point penalty for incompletion.  The one point per rushing attempt is enormous.  It kinda penalizes Arian Foster a bit though.  While he will get his 1200+ yards ... Tate will steal 5+ carries or more a game from him.  I'd go RB in both 1 and 2 rounds.  And do your best to get a guy that's not a sneaky RB by committee type system like Houston.  You'll over pay for those tier 1 running backs in this scoring system.

Patrick Peterson might have some value in this league too.
