If Halladay, Lee or Hamels goes down they are in huge trouble? You could say that about any team. Oh wait...no you can't because nobody in the NL East has 3 PROVEN studs. And don't sleep on Vance Worley. He was pretty damn good last year. And the jokes about Joe Blanton are endless...but he's a serviceable #5 guy.

The Phillies had no offense last season. People just thought they did because of names. They did fine for themselves. And their bullpen is solid enough.

Not looking to move Thornton. He's what Reggie Williams was supposed to be last year.

Sparky,

I'm just saying their offense is garbage this year. They need the horses to dominate to have a shot to win 90 games. Papelbum has been awful in big spots ever since blowing the game against the Angles in 09 ALDS

Big Spots, to me, would mean playoff games. We're not talking about playoffs. They'll be fine. Their offense is still better than the Giants and we know what teams can do if the pitching is there. They'll be fine. Even if the Marlins and Nationals live up to the hype and the Braves get better with a full season from Uggla and Freeman to go along with a bounce back season from Prado and Heyward's first good season...I still think the Phillies are the team to beat. Until I'm given a reason not to believe it...I have to believe it. Not to mention they'll most certainly make a trade for a bat if needed by the deadline. Amaro isn't afraid to do so.

Howard has a set back with his rehab so more then likely Mayberry will see alot of time at 1st and Wigginton will get some time there also..   Blanton is a serviceable #5 but im worried a little about this offense. it depends on how Rollins starts and if he can stay healthy, Victorino needs to get back to his old ways and i think Pence will have a Big year..  Our pen will be fine and i think Papplebon will be re-energized with the change of scenary.. injuries will happen but hopefully our Big 3 stay healthy and Worley can give them quality innings..   i still expect us to win the division..     im just happy i can wear my Thome jersey again, its been collecting dust since he left cause one thing i will not do is wear a jersey of a guy that no longer plays for the team, that screams "Im Cheap" and i just think its a Total Violation.

so glad baseball's here..

I hate having so many guys on my bench. Andre Miller ALWAYS goes off when he's on my bench and I don't know whether to play Curry or not.

Tough call there but Curry will probably only play limited minutes again.

I know. But Jackson said that Curry would have played more had it not been a blowout. I'm benching him but when he blows up...I'm going to be pissed.

I'm trying to put together what I need to win this week. I need blocks. Do I start Thompson as bad as he's been? Who do I take out for him? Thomas has had a few clunkers in a row but he can very well hit 4 three's against whoever the Hornets choose to cover him with. Plus you can NEVER bench a King at home.

I'm annoyed.
