Shumpert was hitting shots last night but he did make some terrible decisions as he has. But he is a rookie so I can't be too mad because I wasn't expecting ANYTHING from him. Someone really needs to help him with that.
I hope Melo plays like he did in Lin's first big game. Him and Amar'e both looked to get Lin the ball because he was hot. He just runs around the court and finds someone, eventually. They just need to let him be the facilitator and they could be very good. Chandler and Amar'e setting picks can cause so much confusion as to where Lin will be going next.

#158 Posted: 2/11/2012 6:11:21 PM I wish I could get a Lin jersey. But I don't want that printed on crap so I'd have to wait for a stitched one.
Now I know why Varajeo was tearing it up. He had to make up for the next month or so that he's going to miss. |

Here's to hoping Tristan Thompson becomes what J.J. Hickson finally became with the Cavs last season after Varajeo went down. |

he was poop for me.. had 9 3's tonight and 31 pts
Lin does it again...minnesota with an 11 point 4th Quarter.. sportcenter just put up a clip of most points by any nba player in their 1st 4 starts and he's first.. more then iverson, shaq and jordan

Im just having a discussion with people from NY or really know the team and have a feel for the pulse of what is going on...
If you are not from NY or a follower then it is probably not for you...
But I figure we are in a humorous league where we can give each other crap... I was in a fantasyfootball league with some covers people and any comments would result in the commish threatening to take away wins or being dropped from the league... In the end the commish actually had a melt down and posted my personal info to the league to try to get back at me.... long story...
So I appreciate the smack talk...

I like shumperts effort on defense and his racking up steals... he seems to turn it up in the 4th quarter the last few games at least with his shooting percentage... shumpert can play an awful game and still look okay on the stat sheet...
lin iso is not the answer just like mello iso is not the answer... they need to play a two man game...
I think that mello in a screen and roll situation will fit well for his skill set and having lin will help in actually running the dantonni offense... there are times that I think he looks like nash...
could you imagine if nash had mello, and tyson to play with in the amare/dantonni years instead of diaw and marion?

I wondered about the line the ny/min game but it was close in the end.... I think they could have gone with min -1 or pick and people still would have put money on NY

His Suns' teams were always good. But this team needs to play defense if they want to advance into the playoffs. And this group of players have done that. Jeffries, Shumpert and Lin have given a big boost on defense. Now Melo and Amar'e need to chip in. |

3 years ago I bet it. I had the option of betting the winner or top 3. No joke...I took the 2nd place guy 3 straight weeks betting on who was going to WIN.
Never touched it again. |
