ManRam...what was the reasoning for picking up La-Ho-See and benching him?

Looks to be a good move...but was that intended? At home against the Dodgers?

Aaron Thompson is getting the spot start for the Pirates.

He was the first rounder for the Marlins back in 2005 (22nd overall).

He's pitched great in 2 Triple-A starts this season but started the season in Double-A and his overall numbers are:

5-7 -- 4.63 ERA -- 95.1 IP -- 1.37 WHIP -- 2.1 BB/9 -- 5.7 K/9.

He's thrown 9 wild pitches as well but has only given up 6 homers. He's given up 109 hits and 22 walks in his 95.1 innings.

He's appeared in 31 games this season but only 14 of those were starts.

I don't have a scouting report but by looking at the numbers...he seems to be a pitch to contact type of a guy and that is NOT a good thing when facing the Brewers.

And I get STUBS next week. I can't believe that I'm going to be making the playoffs after all this.

What a rollercoaster.

Yeah I know. You and dynasty really do have world class teams, it will be hard to beat you guys in the playoffs. Then again if I remember right, last year me and Kyle were smoking the other teams just like you and dynasty. I won the league and he came a somewhat close second. Come playoffs we were saying how it would be me and him in the final. But!!!!!! We both failed to make it to the finals!! If I remember right KTB won last year, playoffs are just crazy!!!

That's why i think making the playoffs means you have a legit chance to win it all.. darn even sparky has a chance to win it ;)

No sir. Not "even sparky" because my team is loaded now.

And Beltre will be back in time for the playoffs.

I just need to finish this week off a 9-1 or 10-0 and await STUBS to find out where my team ranks in the playoffs.

Which is why I was all for having the top 2 of the regular season win the big $$$ and the winner of the playoffs get a smaller around. But some called me stupid for thinking that and comparing this to REAL baseball and saying that you don't play this to be the best at the regular season, you play it to win it all.

I disagree. The playoffs are a crap shoot and the best manager doesn't always win. The best manager/team comes in 1st and 2nd in the regular season. It's clear that the 2 best teams/managers this year are PSM and URISS (lets not talk about me giving him Hamilton please). They're winning by a LONG shot. They should get the 2 big payouts and the winner of the playoffs should get something else.

The people who are against that are those who think they have no chance of winning the regular season and KNOW that the playoffs is a crap shoot and they hope to just make it there and it's anybodies game.

You have GOT to be kidding me.

I'm facing Jamoaks with Cano and Martin.

3 Homers (2 Slams)...5-7...9 RBIs.

If this SOB comes back...I'll go crazy.

10 RBIs by 2 guys.

This was supposed to be a blowout...WTF.

Lucky for me, though...a lot of his team may be rained out this weekend.
