Looking at the Broncos/Warriors.
Home team is 9-2 SU and ATS with Cummins reffing this year...

Not so sure about that.. Broncos have actually because pretty good 'mudders' over the last couple of yrs, probably moreso when D.Lockyer was there to steer the show.
Wet weather probably hides their pedestrian predictable sometimes shambolic attacking structures as well, as it limits what their opposition can throw at them. IMO the warriors are most dangerous on a dry fast track now with the likes of Johnson and Locke et al.
Anyway we'll see I guess

New Zealand Warriors at Brisbane Broncos
The play...
Warriors +5.5 (2 units)
Going 'contrarian' and against the 'money'. Warriors have the pack to menace the Broncs. Major concern is the refereeing but see this one as a high chance of going down to the wire...

#10 Posted: 7/13/2012 5:55:47 PM James Maloney pretty much blew that game for the Warriors with his weak boot. Was surprisingly a fairly evenly called game.
Looking at Storm/Cowboys and Knights/Sea Eagles.
Storm wearing their Batman (Storming the Knight) jerseys for this one.
Refs in Melbourne are Archer, Morris and VR Cooley...

Ray Thompson out for the Cowboys. Storm 6-0 (5-1 ATS) last 6 games with the Archer.
Under Jason Robinson the main ref in tonight's Newcastle/Manly game, the home team is 3-11 SU (2-12 ATS)...

#17 Posted: 7/14/2012 3:15:25 AM Newcastle have won one penalty count since round 9 (have drawn a couple since). They got smashed last week 5-1. |

North Queensland Cowboys at Melbourne Storm
The play...
Cowboys +5.5 (2 units)
Storm in a form slump and would have lost by the same scoreline last week whether Smith played or not. Melbourne weakness is their lack of depth behind the 'big 3' and it's showing as the season progresses. Tonight is the best chance the Cows will have to beat their Melbourne hoodoo. One again the biggest concern is the refs as we all know the Storm have a 'deal' with the whistle blowers in Melbourne...
