Have not had a winning week since before thanksgiving of 2013.
Before this slump hit me I was doing pretty good. Was averaging roughly +$1,500 a week. Would alway be up big off of NBA on the week and lose some on the weekend with NFL and CFB, but still up.

Since after thanksgiving there would be times I would be up 5k, next thing I know I'm down 10k for the week. Just yesterday I was up $2,500 and by bed time was down -$500.
Any good tips??? I really need to stop this trend

What kind of bets you are doing?
Units size? Averrage Odds?

Mainly I bet on cbb, nba, cfb, nfl and rarely on nhl. I find myself most of siding with the favorite most of the time. Used to make a killing with live betting before, now can't even win one when I fade my original pick to push.
Usually 2 units to start off, then depending if loss or won 5-10 units on up coming games for that day.

sound like you are playing too many games. limit the number of games your play and focus on capping those games

Check out the Streak Survivors leaders.  They usually post their best play of the day.  One game!  And the highest winning percentage is 56.7% (counting only those with more than 200 bets).  One play a day is very challenging.  What you are doing is obviously suicide.

In my opinion the grind will kill 95+% of the cappers. The only way to beat sports is a solid chase system. You have to have balls of solid steel but if you do, you will prevail.

Good luck

My wife tells me that too. I bet on probably 90% on the games that have a line. If I don't bet on almost all the games it's because my account has everything pending or maxed out. Was thinking about opening and online acct where I'm limited instead of betting with my local where I have unlimited.
If I can make it through tomorrow without blowing the 7k I won today, it will be the first wining week in two month!!!

Hey hat,
what chase systems would u recommend? So far the only one I found that I can understand is bDnews H8ball. Found that this one is the most reliable one of all BD's cases. With the way I bet, all of his chases I've taken a loss at 30+ units each. And that just on one posted chase.
I tried following you systems but seems like you don't post them or you pm them per request. HOOK A UNION BROTHER UP HAT!!!

be careful jumping on a system mid stream.

For example, if there is one which which is 40-0 you may think that it will stay undefeated, so you jump in risking too much. all of a sudden there is a loss and your are in the red while the players who have played from the beginning are still + money.

You need to either bet fewer games and/or lower bet amount 2%-4% each bet. If you decide to play a chase system don't play more than 2 in my opinion. Baseball will have many chases to choose from so choose a couple or just one. Tell Cupertino to give you GF scale to cover your losses!

Did it again...  Won 8 units yesterday with bDnews chases

But, today... LOST MY behind OFF!!! Lost 68 units today. Tailed bD and decided to tail GIANFRANCO1114 because he was hot yesterday. Got killed with both systems. Maybe it was that kind of day for nba and cbb bettors. Kinda capped their picks before I put them in myself. Seems to me that that the treads just confuse me because it always tells you to pick both side and over and under! WTF, example: this team is 10-0 ATS at home. then next line says this team is 0-10 ATS on Mondays. I really need to learn how to cap so I'm not blindly tailing.

You've probably got to give up mate. You've got what's called a gambling problem. Unless 40k is something you can afford

A good point there Bart. Basketball has to be the hardest to cap simply from the amount of scoring that happens. The more regimented the easier to cap and better chance in a chase
