Lets say the avg odds are -125

2 game chase: A&B Games are 82%: 250-55 (so on a 2 game chase -4.06 x 55 = 223.44 lost plus 250 wins that's a total of +26.55 units profit in 17.5 years.

4 game chase: 255 - 10 (with -125 odds each 4 gm chase is a loss around 25 units) 25 x 10 = 250 + 295 won that is 45 units in 17.5 years.

So it looks like you need to be willing to risk about 57 or more units per 5 game chase or you are going to have small profit with the 2 game or 4 game chases.

Another way to look at is if there are 18 plays per year and 315 documented plays that is 17.5 years of documented plays.  If there are 10 losses during that time frame than we will avg a loss every other year.  Not sure if it is really worth it when you crunch the numbers.

I understand your concerns, I'm just reporting what has transpired in 17 years. Nothing is a for sure thing but I'm willing to go with it until its proves non-profitable. I filtered it to be undefeated if I would have left a couple losses per year in there, we would have a heck of a lot more plays. Good luck if you choose to play if not there are openings for the cheering section!

Hey Jeff

good luck in your system, but be careful to understand the difference between "filtering" and "back fitting" ..I don't think there are nearly enough plays to justify chasing to 5 games... one loss and it would take you 3 years or so to win it back. And if you think just because its 305-0 it wont lose, just look at a college system I posted several years ago ...it was something like 3400 -0 over 20 years..and ya, it lost twice the following season ..just my 2 cents... good luck !

Let's make this another (A) winner and make this system 307-0

We have NYY (B) game today:

The last time the Yanks lost 9 in a row was 1982 so I'm not worried about a first loss.

82% of plays hit on (A) or (B)

Line reflecting NYY lousy play of late, on a long road trip and I believe MIN best pitcher? NYY does own them of late in MIN. NYY 5-2 since 2011 in MIN. I'm not worried.

Something I saw is Yanks have struggled big time vs lefties.

They're due!!
