Yes, based on last years results, I have incorporated it into the 2014 version, however, I'm using the modified system that DG initiated in the middle of the thread that included the (reverse) RL works well with no adjustments other than the innovation of the RRL. I'm quite sure by feedback; that I'm not the only capper who is 'able'

Would you be able to post a link to the revised sheet, similar to what DG has done in the past via google docs?

no need of repetition, the links to everything are posted throughout the thread, and are clearly comprehensible to application

Yes, as to what the sheet produces....but the actual working excel file is not updated to function this season....formatting with vegasinsider.com has changed causing the sheet to 'malfunction' and render itself useless until it can be repaired.

I hope this will help or may be what is needed to help the spreadsheet get functional.  I only spent a little time on this so I may have missed somthing, I did not check it functionality compared to the system rules.  Please let me know if it is not functional and I can see what i can do.

I will look at it jenjay see if I can see anything.

I do know that baseballpress.com changed their format and its creating headaches where the schedule is concerned......

Yeah, the schedule was a bit of manual work, the only other thing i changed was the link to pitcher matchups, instead of Donbests website i grabbed it from odds.com which has the same format

I see you hardwired to schedule by inputting the entire season into the schedule tab....this works, however it was better before when it was dynamic and pulled daily, so if there were make up games, time changes they would show up in the day's schedule

thanks for your efforts

jenjay,

It appears you have updated an old version of DG's sheet.  His latest was v.12 or version 12, which one did you use?

My apologies, I am not sure what version I used, just one I had saved from last year. Probably not V12.  Does the sheet I posted help you update Degen's V12 sheet ?

I finally got this to work and update. I am not sure how to use google docs. Can someone message me instructions on how to upload the file? I have it set to use bovada sportsbook. Others will be able to update if they want but I just wanted to put up a file that was working.

Hope someone steps up to the plate

MLB Underdog Systems

This spreadsheet automates the MLB underdog systems listed on the the following websites:

http://www.betfirms.com/baseball-betting-systems-underdogs/

http://www.vegasinsider.com/mlb/story.cfm/story/571442/

Now the VegasInsider.com link just goes into more detail of the last system of the Bet Firms Link

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5dydT9Oe6JbRXhKaVRGT2lkSXc/edit?usp=sharing

It takes a good 3-5 minutes to pull all the data needed but it shows what teams it's downloading in the lower left hand corner of excel - so just grab a cup of coffee in the mean time.  You only need to run it once each morning.  In addition, for the <6 hits system - you just have to manually check if the team allowed less than 6 hits in their privious game and enter it in the field.  I didn't automate it because I didn't want to slow it down any more for data that would only be used IF the team happens to be a play for that system.

Features:

·         All plays and data needed for the day are updated upon clicking the “Update” button

·         You can download from the link above:

*Just a reminder that the <6 hits system needs some manual inputs

oilcountry99: review the beginning of the thread, take it for what it is and simply coordinate it with the 2014 MLB season, it appears that your problem is not the Sheet itself; but rather the IT application involving the re-attachment of the links to the 2014 season, this is understandable, as you have clearly indicated previously in your commentary regarding the vegasinsider.com links, that are different by the year, as are numerous others that need an upgrade; below are the games produced from yesterday's Sheet (Thursday 04/03/14)  as an example to comprehension>>

CHC+148 -vs- PIT  WIN

StL-102 -vs- CIN-105  WIN

BOS+105 -vs- BAL  WIN

SEA+132 -vs- OAK  LOSS

MIN+128 -vs- CHW  WIN

S.F.+115 -vs- ARI  WIN

the system is 21-2 for the 2014 season, coinciding with last years pre All Star game results.......take care

Hey...I was able to download the V14 file successfully.  I was even able to update the spreadsheet after changing the date to today's date (it populated plays for the Divisional Underdog and the MLB Underdog System).  I really appreciate you updating the spreadsheet! Is it good to go?  Also what system would you suggest I play?  I was browsing through the plays last season and it seemed that some systems did better at different points in the season.  Which system would you suggest I follow from now until the all-star break? Thank you so much for your help!

Mest16

I recommend you track all of them, Danrules24 did an exceptional job, you should pattern your technique after his now that you have the download for the V14 intact for the 2014 season, go with it.

Nice job on the update.  However, I found a couple of problems that I made a quick fix for.  If you have updated for today (April 5th) you will see in the Nyy/Tor game that both pitchers are Dickey.  This is because Dickey has periods in his first name.  This causes a problem for your formula in Col Z of the Schedule tab.
If you change the formula to:
=IFERROR(MID(K2,SEARCH("vs.",K2,1),SEARCH("(",K2,SEARCH("vs.",K2,1))-SEARCH("vs.",K2,1)),"")
...don't forget the period after vs. and change Col AA to:
=IFERROR(TRIM(RIGHT(Z2,LEN(Z2)-3)),"")
this will fix that problem.
The other problem I saw was that pitchers for the respective teams are backward.  On Col G of the Summary tab, in the Away pitcher formula the Col should be AD not U and the opposite for Home pitcher...U not AD.

From my research, the underdogs system are extremely profitable through June. Start with that and track the others as you get comfortable. I am making the fixes to the file and it will be ready by mid week.

Alright guys. Here is the updated spreadsheet. I also saw that Bovada wasn't refreshing so I fixed that as well. Please review the spreadsheet and let me know if you find anything not working correctly. Once this is working correctly, I will modify the vba code to allow for sportsbook selection.

Does anyone know what the record, units , or ROI was for the 6 hit system? Thanks.
