MLB Sunday 9/9/2012

Detroit Tigers -1.5 ((reverse) RL / +305 @ LA Angels

And you put -1.5 (reverse) RL/+305. My question is how do you play this? is it a -1.5 RL play or a +1.5 RL play. And what does the (reverse) mean? Please I would appreciate your response.

akuwudikeeze: No problem, and a good question for those unfamiliar with MLB wagering. The Reverse RunLine is simply betting on the 'dog' changing the bet from a plus, to a minus, making the dog a favorite to win by 2 runs or more. Gaining supreme 'value' in one of the highest return wager offered in sports betting for a SU single bet, second only to the NHL's Reverse PuckLine.

Take note, these wagers are difficult to accommodate the recreation player, using a 'recreational' on-line sportsbook, my wagers go through LV sportsbooks, where the RRL, and the value it possesses is a standard accommodation, where the ODDS are released APRX 4 hours before the first pitch, after daily balance  has been established.

The MLB Reverse RunLine wager is available at two sportbooks that are classified as professional operations/non-recreational; they are Pinnacle & Bet365 however, they do not offer the 'value' in which LV books bring to the forefront of the RRL action, and are limited in the amount a player can wager on the RRL..with a little research, I am sure their are other books that can accommodate this wager other than the two I mention, but if you have to do it on-line I would recommend you start their, where it's justified. but limited...appreciate your interest, and may you prosper at sports investment wagering always-

Akuwudikeeze, to answer yot question above, goto MLB and you'll find a sub section called 'alternate lines' this is where you'll find the (reverse) that sports_Network speaks of.

Hope that answers your question, let's get some winners!

Quick question Sports Network. In your post 111 you posted

MLB Sunday 9/17/2012

LA Angels -1.5 RL /+110 @ Kansas City Royals

LA Angels ML  WIN

LA Angels RL  LOSS  (4-3)

My question is about your plays, do you play RL and ML in all your plays or just RL. Cos you play was LA Angels -1.5 RL /+110 @ Kansas City Royals which should be a RL play?

akuwudikeeze,

The RL formula is initiated to the ML wager to coincide insurance attached to equated Unit Management, so your answer is 'yes'  all RL/RRL plays are directly attched to the ML wager..which lowers the risk factor of a one run win that does not cover the RL/RRL

I had the same question as akuwudikeeze, so you do play RL/RRL/ML  what is your unit management? What amount do you alot to RL/RRL and to what amount to ML?  A system is tied into MM to be profitable/successful, so in order to benifit from what you are doing here can you let is on the Money Managent strategy (MM)?

Thanks s_N, continued success to you!

Although your questions pertaining to the equations of Unit Management, are justified, the thread is dedicated to the RL/RRL

I gave an outline to this reference in my answer to aku, to go into the advancement would require a separate, and a dedicated thread solely on the RL, and the MM formula's that are attached, they are numerous, and a standard knowledge of Mathematical Equation Application (MEA) the answer to your questions are embedded in your mind, and can only be answered and brought forward by yourself, in true handicapping form, research on your part would lean towards the RL/RRL simply connected to the the equation of the ML, all games, when bet in a series have to be equated to absorb Loss, and insure 'value'

If this thread is dedicated to RL/RRL why post the ML results?

What you are saying above is a nothing short of a brain teaser for most, can you dumb it down for us simpletons?

Is there any chance we can get a lesson in money management as that seems to be the downfall of many investors!

Thanks again for everything here.

In reference to why post ML results, that question was answered in-depth above #123 (it would be considered 'rare' that any serious MLB handicapper that would wager on the RL/RRL would overlook the value of the ML, terminology:automatic play)

nothing short of a "brain teaser" after review, I see no connection to this term, connected to the equations of handicapping MM. Their set formulas, not capable of teasing the brain, only to execute by the brain.

"can you dumb it down"  their solid formulas, you either "get it" or you don't.

"get a lesson in MM" their are no lessons in handicapping sports,

or MM application, you must educate yourself, a lesson would require the dedication of a thread on MM exclusively, with in-depth discussion by handicappers that have clear understanding of the bankroll, and how it operates, connected to MLB wagering-

"the downfall of many investors" on the contrary; handicappers who approach sports wagering on an investment platform, take advantage of applying MM formulas to +units; the best to your future prosperity..

Thanks for the response.

As far as the ML goes, that was an oversight on my part, of course betting the ML makes sense if you are convinced the RL or RRL can be a winner.  The question for us as individuals to decide is what to risk in each case to maximize 'value'

You say there are no lessons in handicapping sports or the MM associated.  However you speak of "set formulas"  If there are set formulas there must be lessons on how to use and apply them....

Can you point me in the direction of a 'quality' source to further educate myself?

When I say "the downfall of many investors" relates to the lack of knowledge in MM and more so lack of discipline.  Professionals get it, average joes do not.  Sports investing is a learning process with lots of trial and error along the journey.  We are both on a journey, you're just further off into the sunset!

Anything you can offer the community is valuable, I look forward to learning as this process continues!
