#2 Posted: 4/8/2012 11:45:17 AM If my understanding is correct, we are watching/waiting on Baltimore and Miami's next 2 games to see if they continue to qualify for the "un.470 5 run chase" system...correct? |

#3 Posted: 4/8/2012 3:09:32 PM You said you were 23-0 last year. Were the wins spread out or did most of them in the beginning, middle or end? |

You are looking for the Home Favorite system. Yes, spread out until August 31.

Cin and Min regular plays Monday.
Baltimore is an un.470 play. Miami is a regular play.
The teams I'm using for under.470 is in the .470 tab column U.
In a couple of weeks I'll start using the standings. |

I like this avatar better.
These teams have "qualified" for play by winning by 5+ runs. Now we wait 2 games and begin the chase.
I'm curious. Of all the games colored blue, why did you pick the Marlins? |

#7 Posted: 4/8/2012 4:09:06 PM I actually did not look at the speadsheet until after I posed the question. I was looking at the standings, Miami and Baltimore both had losing records when they beat a team by 5+ runs. The other teams were all .500 or better. |

#12 Posted: 4/8/2012 8:29:18 PM wasn't there a filter that if a team losses its next 2 games following a 5-run win, that the chase was eliminated?
example the current situation with LAA?

#13 Posted: 4/8/2012 8:57:37 PM I think I'm alone and such a newb that I still can't understand the spreadsheet in the first post listing plays. Can you list the plays for each day here when they are available?

You have a good memory
I dropped it when I started using the RL+1.5. I was thinking the same thing today when I looked at those scores. We'll see if I lose any of those chases that I would have dropped.

What are you smoking over there in Saskatchewan?
No, i'm not going to list the plays. That's why I made the spreadsheet. It will tell you what games to play. |

#18 Posted: 4/9/2012 4:19:19 AM Just to make sure I'm doing this correctly, my unit size is $20 so I'll be betting Minnesota Twins RL +1.5, $22.80 @ -114 to win $20. If we lose the first one, I'll bet on the next opponent of the LAA to win back the $22.80 AND another $20.
Also, what's with this RL 1 thing? |

#22 Posted: 4/10/2012 11:20:17 AM Hi cisco, looks like you've developed a really nice system here. Progressive betting with the right filter is really growing on me. Was last year the first year you used this system?

5or 6 years. Two were negative if I remember correctly, but always tweaking.
I stopped early one year when I got hammered at the end of April or early May. |
