The dogs have been getting slaughtered! NHL faves went 6-0 on fri and 8-3 yesterday.

No problem. We'll turn it around.

Jonny - I saw your post the other day about taking the dogs +1.5.  I didn't see any new sheet in your spreadsheet where you calculated this.  Although 75% sounds like a great winning pct, it is not that high considering the price on goal lines.  For example, the Kings +1.5 tonight would be -240.  You would have to win that bet 70.6% to break-even, not to mention increasing your wager amount by 2.5 times.  I think your regular dog plays are the way to go.  Go Kings!

Yeah, I started a sheet for it and just didn't have time to pursue it fully. Maybe something there later...

Jonny:
I ran the numbers for the puck lines on all your plays to date.  They were 63-23 73.26% for a profit of 208.40.  Your profit of 232.01 is better despite a lesser record of 43-43.  Personally, I will just stick with the moneylines since there is less risk.  I added a formula to your spreadsheet that will calculate profit and loss based on the result of a "WIN" or "LOSS" entry.  That might make it easier for you and cut-out any math errors.  But, I am not sure how to post the Excel spreadsheet to this forum.  Let me know if you are interested.

I forgot to mention - The puck lines were the closing lines from 5Dimes.

Thanks but I just copy and paste. No data entry needed other than the odds.

good points raised about the ml or puckline play when betting dogs.  i for one would be more inclined to play the puckline because of the common occurrence of 1 goal losses by the dogs in the nhl.
