#51 Posted: 9/17/2011 12:04:14 AM Love the work, my brutha!!
Wouldn't it make sense to add the +4 to the line for home field advantage as statfox recommends?
In any event, nice hit on Boise.

#53 Posted: 9/18/2011 4:45:32 PM Bookie, I'm glad you got something out of your book. I don't bet all the games I post. I usually only pick one or two games. I took Boise, Stanford and Utah. How about that Utah/BYU game. I went the game and sat in the middle of BYU football player friends and family section with my "U" shirt on. Best part about BYU football is fans are always cool. Anyway, another money weekend.
You'll notice the filters aren't working. I am working to adjust them. I am simply watching games and looking for advantages. RPI system doesn't appear to work very well so far.
RPI SYSTEM RPI Home: 38 RPI Visitor: 40
Filter: Sept 01 = H32 V39 Filter: Sept 03 = H38 V40 Filter: Sept 03 = No lines greater than -35 Filter: Sept 09 = Double Ott match ups take the home team
11 - 3 - 0
Sept 03 - AUBURN -24 (H39) LOSS Sept 03 - STANFORD -30 (H49) WIN Sept 03 - OHIO ST -34 (H49) WIN Sept 03 - VIRGINIA TECH -26 (H53) WIN Sept 03 - MISSISSIPPI ST -30 (V40) WIN Sept 09 - MISSOURI +10 (V03) WIN Sept 09 - STANFORD (V39) WIN Sept 09 - USC -8.5 (H00) WIN Sept 09 - N. ILLINOIS -4 (V16) LOSS Sept 09 - ARKANSAS -35.5 (V41) WIN Sept 16 - BOISE ST. -19 V29 WIN Sept 17 - TCU -28.5 (H58) LOSS Sept 17 - TEMPLE +7.5 (H-06) WIN Sept 17 - STANFORD -10 (V24) WIN
UNOFFICIAL PLAYS
Sept 15 - MISSISSIPPI ST. +3 LOSS Sept 17 - UTAH +4.5 WIN |

#54 Posted: 9/18/2011 6:09:51 PM Yeah the linesmakers have the spreads all over at the start of the season with good teams playing crap teams. Some teams cover with ease and others can't or won't. I would have to think the rpi would be good during conference play as the spreads will come down and good teams are willing to make more of a statement against a conference rival. Like Auburn only lost ats to 1 conference opponenet last year. |

#56 Posted: 9/19/2011 1:47:01 PM Thanks, I am just trying to find a way to consistently win at football. Specifically college football. I won't bet NFL anymore.
Hopefully between NCAAF, NBA and MLB we could all quit our day jobs.
I appreciate any feedback. This forum has been great, with people focused on making money. Thats why we are here....right? |

#57 Posted: 9/19/2011 2:03:51 PM With the NBA on lockout and all the crazy things I've seen over the years, think SA losing to MEM last year in the playoffs and not covering one game. I'm cutting it down to MLB and NHL as both sports make up a full year. Don't expect to quit my day job betting as any strategy can go south in a hurry. |

#61 Posted: 9/21/2011 11:46:34 PM Here a couple I am looking at it. I am ranking them in order of best to worst. These are not final, except for BYU.
1. BYU -2.5 = BYU will bounce back after their embarrassing loss to Utah. 2. Missouri +22 3. Tulsa +31.5 4. Wisconsin (H62) 5. Ohio St. -22

#66 Posted: 9/24/2011 12:28:32 AM Well that's the right way to start to the weekend. Bounce back game. I guarantee Bronco was not going to let his players embarrass him again. Lets hope that Missouri shows up tomorrow. They have a tough matchup, but they have the talent. I do have an unofficial play. Utah State has been playing excellent football. The only problem I have is the line is right on the money.

Have you considered an offshore book like Intertops, Sportsbook or BetUS?

#74 Posted: 9/24/2011 6:42:51 PM Wisconsin nailing it at 49. Wisconsin is not a team that lets up. They play all the way until the game ends.
That's another winner boys.
