I expect this game to complete the mirror image, of what was the first series between these two clubs (played in SF, towards the end of April).  The past four games played between these divisional foes has been decided by one run.  How many more games go down to one run, in consecutive fashion.  'Four' sounds like a realistic limit to me.

After nearly toppling the Giants 3 run lead (in the bottom of the ninth inning last night), Colorado might come out today feeling that the Giants 'owe them one'.  Sanchez started this season strong, but has since trailed off.  His road numbers are embarrassing, and having to pitch during the day doesn't seem to inspire much confidence in his game either.

Jimenez hasn't been especially better, but I figure the guy is somewhat due here.  If both pitchers happen to come out shakey, and this game turns into a 'battle of the bullpens'; well . . . I reckon that'll be just fine by the Rockies too.

In this contest for futility in the National West, I'd say these clubs are about even (though the SF bullpen plain sucks right now).  That being said, Colorado is practically a shoe-in today.

I kind of saw this coming.  SF has the tendency to play well deep into games, along with the fact that the COL bullpen = total crap.  GG
