#4 Posted: 10/23/2012 12:26:56 PM too much down time for the tigers. they'll come into the series cold while the giants' bats stay hot. giants are getting way too good of value considering the run they're on and that they've won all of zito's last 13 starts. don't care if it's verlander, he's human. giants and under |

#5 Posted: 10/23/2012 12:35:20 PM I say, just BET THE UNDER.. Its hard to bet against Verlander, and Zito is pitching pretty good too.... With Detroits quick disposal of the Yankees, there bats might be COLD from waiting for NLCS to get over with... |

#6 Posted: 10/23/2012 1:35:29 PM Zito's received great run support his last few starts. I would not count on it happening this time around. I am probably going to sit this one out, wait to see what Detroit looks like after the rest time... Oh hell, who am I kidding - I am going to take Verlander and the Tigers - but this is strictly a homer bet, I wouldn't care if it was Jose Mercedes pitching for SF.

#7 Posted: 10/23/2012 3:41:27 PM No Detroit looks good against a Yankees team that didn't, but that being said, I think San Fran might have blown their load in the Lcs Should be entertaining to say the least. I think it is detroits year. |

#8 Posted: 10/23/2012 3:43:52 PM -169for the game or -180 for the series. .love the series bet as well, but hate future betting, rather smash a good percentage per game with flex if I flop |

Except hes really not human. I thought he was human too until i saw him hit 101 on the gun in the 9th inning vs. the yankees. The 9th inning... Granted i expect this scrappy sf lineup to give him more fits than the pathetic yankees lineup did, but no way is he giving up more than 3 runs, and if zito struggles like he sometimes does it could get really ugly. |

They hit pretty good vs. sabbathia actually. Not condoning blowing ur wad on any one game though which is just silly on the road. I like the tigers for a normal size bet, i dont see a ton of value in overbetting a team on the road that has been on ice for a week. But i also know what i can expect from verlander. 8-9 strong innings, can you say the same about zito? |

#14 Posted: 10/24/2012 12:45:04 AM This series will be very close,,,Both managers are great...I give Starting pitching to Detroit,,,Bullpen pitching to SF.Now Detroit beat Oakland who was the hottest team going in the Playoffs and then played a shitty Yankee team and they did as they should swept em..SF earned there way to the WS because down 3-1 to a team with greaqt Pitching and Hitting...I have to say SF has momentum edge and also the way this format is favors Home Field....I'll bet SF FOR SERIES and Verlander for his 2 games.SF in 6 or 7 games.GL to all |

#15 Posted: 10/24/2012 12:45:54 AM Scratch the series prediction. SF has too much momentum going for them. Adjustment on Tigers will be harsh and before they know it they will be going back to their place down 0-2. GMEN LARGE Folks

I agree with you GREAT value on Zito and the only way Giants do win is if it's low scoring!!! Giants take game 1 3 -2 in a close 1!!! |

#21 Posted: 10/24/2012 11:48:46 AM Zito is due to have a bad outing and if that curveball is hanging the Tigers will crush Zito out of the game early

#25 Posted: 10/24/2012 1:57:24 PM no one is cold in the world series. these are professionals keeping them selves ready for the biggest series of there lives.. the obvious bet for the serious would seem to be the tigers... guess again boys the giants win this series in 6.. at +160 there is no way you can pass up a home dawg who is hitting as good as san fran.. Verlander is human, he wont be able to contiue to pitch perfectly in san fran... GIANTS ALL THE WAY |
