Verlander has had little run support and isn't pitching up to his expectations. Not bad numbers but not #1 starter stuff. He's a bull dog tho...at home, pitching against NYY when the tm has been on an unlucky skid I think is something he is looking forward to. If he can get out of the 1st inning w/ a decent pitch count and 0 runs, he'll have a hell of a night. Colon is ready to come back to earth a little. Leyland will want this gm a little extra to light a fire for this home stand and to stop the skid. Always tough to bet against the Yankees, but if you ever are going to, tonight seems like a decent value imo

Colon is 0-6 with a 7.33 ERA in his last 10 outings against the Tigers, who tagged him for four runs in four innings of relief on April 3.

Tigers are playing good enough for me to bet any money on however!
