Then we face cliff Lee & if we lose, all we have to do is win 1 game at home with Pettite & then CC again.

I would be shocked if we dont make any adjustments to deal with Lee in game 5... but Blanton suday night???  I know Lee has never pitched on 3 days rests, but why wouldnt you even give it a shot?

Anybody have any thing on Blanton?
Whats his deal?

WS is when men and winners are made.  Players push themselves so they can excel & help their teams win (CC, Shilling, & Randy Johnson going on 3 days rest. Schilling & his bloody sock, Pettite with his age still fighting for every out, Jeter's post season stats, Red Sox coming back from 3 down to yanks in AL Championship game to win the next 8 in a row & win WS etc, etc, etc)...why wouldnt you want to step up and even try to help your team.

Hell if Lee doesnt work after 1- 2 innings, then bring Blanton in...Phils have to do what they can to win every game, by taking it 1 game at a time...Or maybe, this is as good as they really are.

You cant win if you dont gamble & try to push yourself.

Thank you Cliff & C.Manuel

I have to stick with an earlier prediction that these teams would go back and forth, so with that in mind I have to go with the Phils to take game 4 at home.

Philadelphia - 7                   New York - 4

Phillies +161                    over 9

Risking $300 to win $480 on the Phanatics to even up the series

Also wagering $220 to win $200 on the over..

Well done on that encore performance Mon Colonel en Fuego !

Double vision or Johnny Black n' nuts givin' you post hiccups ?

Coast being clear, Colonel's canon missing,

Have to let it ride Yankees way, considering 9 out of last 10 teams

to win game 3 when series was tied at 1,all went on to win

W.series.

Best 0' Luck to you !

Never good  to be sitting on the other side of the fence from Hermano Easy and wise G, but I got to follow the Colonel whilst he is still chippin` ... Was tempted to take the over however has moved down and I do not like the look of that.... Although Blanton holds a poor record against the Yanks,CC can have his moments also and repeatedly going on 3 days rest can have it`s pitfalls.I see a rally from the
