dodgers took 2 of 3 on the road in philly this year.  Add to that the fact that kuroda has had a lot of success against the phillies, even chalking up the one dodger win in last year's NLCS.  Way too good of money on the dodgers here to pass up while phillies money is just took expensive to burn that way.

If Kuroda hits his spots today
I think dodgers win.
  The cardiac Phils
have to play better to win this series.
Howard alone is not enough.

i would love to take the LAD here but i have no idea if joe torre is through outmanaging himself. this series should easily be 2-0 LAD. EASILY....you see in game 1 torre tinkered with the lineup and it burned him and all of dodgertown.
regular lineup  1 furcal      GM1 lineup        1 furcal
                     2 ethier                               2 ethier
                     3 kemp                               3 ramirez
                     4 ramirez                            4 kemp
                     5 loney                               5 blake
                     6 blake                               6 loney
switching kemp and ramirez isn't that big a deal. but switching blake and loney is almost criminal. GM1 blake 0-5, loney 3-5...and how many guys did blake leave on base?
the LAD and PHI are clearly the class of the NL. you cannot give either of these teams extra outs let alone 1 game in a playoff series. thanks to the BRILLANCE of joe torre i look for the PHI to take this series in GM 6.
take PHI tonight. LAD in GM 4. PHI in GM 5 and 6.
