Roberto Luongo will start in the crease for the Canucks tonight at Rogers Aretna. Although Luongo gave up 4 goals on 33 shots in yesterday's overtime win vs the Coyotes he was provided with enough goals. I expect the Canucks to put on some goals on the scorebaord in tonigh't matchup vs Bryzgalov.

I am backing the over in this matchup.

the Edmonton Oilers might be worth a look strictly for value...

It is obvious that the Canucks are struggling mightily to hang on to a lead without Coach Torts behind the bench motivating them to play solid defense...they are now 0-2 without him and have blown late leads in both games versus offensively challenged teams. Edmonton just broke out of their slump and will be looking to build on the momentum of their offense from last night, so expect them to push the pace here with that +180 $$

I like Vancouver ML... I think Edmonton will score, and probably push the game Over, but I just cannot see Edmonton beating a solid 9th-ranked defense on home ice with their 18th-ranked offense. And even when they do score, I do not think they will be able to hold onto any lead, not with a defense that is ranked 30th in the NHL.

Because of the steep price, I parlayed Vancouver ML with Pittsburgh ML... GLTA
