How can the Stars win this one after playing in Nashville last night when they couldn't beat this team when fully rested?? I'm not sure why they are favored. Am I missing something with this one??

Not too sure why the Stars are heavily favored in this one either... What are we missing? They looked awful last night.
Kuemper has looked good for the wild so far, and they are banged up. My only guess is the money is on Dallas because of an inexperienced tendy and some injuries on the backend for the Wild.

Yeah the line looks fishy. Dallas won the recent meeting @home versus the Wild at March 29 2013, which can't be the reason favoring Dallas here.
Dallas is slumping big time with 9 losses in their last 10 games. And the Wild on the other hand have won 7 of their last 9 games. Tyler Seguin has 9 games without a goal and the rest of the line doesn't look better.
That trend 17-1-0 trend for Dallas; and the Wild's 3-19-1 in their last 23 games in Dallas points to Dallas as favorite. The line looks to me that someone expects Dallas to get out of their slump tonight in a lifting winning versus Minnesota @home.
I see that Darcy Kuemper is starting for Minnesota. Still waiting for the Dallas goalie to be confirmed. Expect Lehtonen for Dallas.

There's a heavy lean on Dallas likely because this is a home-home for Minny and since they won in OT at home against them I guess the sharps got them splitting this mini-series.

Thanks for all the feedback on this. Its still tough to compare these 2 and see Dallas as the fav but I guess its the old divisional rival game so they get up for it no matter how tired they might be. Just like how the Leafs used their old pals in Boston to snap their slump I guess the same could happen here. Im already locked in with the wild tonight but I think I'll pay attention to this game and if the Stars do win maybe start watching out for a trend based on slumps and old/div rivals. Thanks again and BOLTA
